## What is CVtoapply?

Your CV is probably fine. The software reading it may not agree.

Most applications are parsed by an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) before a human ever sees them. Multi-column layouts, tables, text baked into images, unusual fonts and header/footer contact details can all break that parse - and a CV that does not parse cleanly can be filtered out before anyone reads a word of it.

CVtoapply shows you exactly how a machine reads your CV, and what to fix.

MEASURE
Upload a PDF, DOCX or TXT and get a 0-100 ATS readability score with a clear breakdown:
- Machine readability - columns, tables, fonts, images, text layer
- Keywords and job match
- Content strength - measurable achievements, action verbs, weak phrasing
- Format and contact details
Every finding tells you what lowered the score and why. Scanned PDFs are read with OCR.

MATCH AGAINST A JOB AD
Paste the job description and see which required terms your CV is missing, and which it already covers. Whole-word matching - "javascript" will not be counted as "Java".

FIX, CARD BY CARD
An AI editor proposes concrete rewrites for weak lines. It never invents achievements, employers or numbers you did not provide - where a figure is needed it leaves a blank for you to fill in. You approve each card; the score updates as you go.

EXPORT
Download a clean, single-column, ATS-readable PDF or DOCX.

TRACK
Keep your applications on a simple board and see what the outcomes have in common.

PRIVACY
Sign-in is optional. Use the app without an account and your CVs and application cards stay on your device only. If you do sign in (Apple or Google), your saved CVs and application cards are kept in your account so your subscription and remaining allowance follow you across devices. You can remove everything whenever you want: Profile > Delete my data, or Delete my account to close the account as well. During analysis your CV text passes through our server and Anthropic's AI model to be read and to generate suggestions - it is not stored there and is never used for model training.

HONEST ABOUT WHAT THE SCORE IS
The score measures how cleanly software can read your CV. It is not a prediction that you will be hired or interviewed, and every company configures its ATS differently.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
CVtoapply is free to try - your first CV analysis costs nothing and needs no card. Optional auto-renewable subscriptions unlock higher monthly limits:
- Pro (monthly or yearly): 30 CV analyses per month
- Pro+ (monthly or yearly): 75 CV analyses per month, priority processing
Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store for your region. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-24

Your data, your control.

• Delete my data — remove your saved CVs, application cards and usage records from our servers, instantly and permanently.
• Delete my account — close your account entirely, right from the Profile screen.
• Your subscription and this month's remaining allowance stay as they are, so you never lose what you paid for.
• Clearer privacy and KVKK wording: we now spell out exactly what is deleted and what is kept, and why.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-08-23

Tailoring your CV to a job posting now always raises your score — never lowers it.

• Fixed: adapting a CV to a posting could drop the measured score. The career-break sentence we ask you to write is no longer counted as an achievement bullet.
• Title alignment now works across languages: an English CV applying to a Turkish posting is scored correctly.
• No more mixed-language CVs. Suggested skills, job titles and section headings are always written in your CV's own language.
• New: LANGUAGES section. If your CV doesn't state a language level, we suggest adding one — you write the level, we never invent it.
• The AI writing step is far more reliable: a partial or oddly shaped response no longer discards the whole result.
• Job titles are never invented. If a posting's role appears nowhere in your CV, we show it but don't fill it in for you.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-16

Bug fixes for signing in and subscriptions.

• Sign in with Apple: fixed a bug that could leave sign-in stuck or fail without explaining why. Signing in with your Apple Account now completes reliably.

• Subscriptions: if a purchase needs approval (Ask to Buy) or cannot be verified, the app now tells you exactly what happened and what to do next. Previously the screen simply did nothing after you tapped.

• Sign-in problems now show the real reason instead of a generic message, so support can help you faster.

• Signing in on the web now returns you to CVtoapply instead of an unrelated page.

Your CVs, scores and saved applications are unchanged.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-12

- Career breaks, handled. If there is a gap of six months or more between jobs, we now point it out — and it costs you no points. A break is not a flaw in your CV; leaving it unexplained is. You write one line about what you actually did, and it goes in as its own dated entry, so the dates read clean. We never write that line for you.
- One thing to do this week. The report used to hand you a score and leave you there. Now there is a single, concrete next step right under it — and when nothing is missing, it says so: this week's job is applying, not polishing the CV.
- A kinder finish screen. What is still open is listed with its points as before, but it is no longer framed as something you gave up on.
- Sign in with Apple or Google. Your subscription and remaining AI credits now follow your account across devices — your CVs still stay on your phone only.
- Job match, fixed. A CV written in English is no longer penalised against a Turkish job ad (or the other way round): only terms we can actually recognise count toward the match, so the percentage reflects real overlap.
- If we deduct points for missing keywords, we now always show you which ones — and a one-tap way back to add them.
- Honest scoring. A rewritten bullet with no figure in it no longer promises points it cannot deliver; the editor tells you exactly how many points are still on the table and asks you for the real number.
- "Approve" no longer fails silently. When a card can't be approved, the reason is written right above the button.
- Add a screenshot of the job ad on the "Match to a job ad" screen — the text is read on your phone, the image never leaves your device.
- Tap a CV on the home screen and it asks what's next (tailor to a job ad / continue fixes / preview) instead of dropping you into a preview.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-08-09

- Tailor your CV to a specific job posting. Paste the ad (or add up to 3 screenshots) and get suggestions built from the full posting - not just the first paragraph.
- One clear way to generate AI suggestions: "Write all with AI" fills every open card in a single pass. The per-card button is gone, and the cards are now noticeably shorter.
- Analysis keeps running in the background. Close the app mid-measurement and your finished report is waiting when you return.
- Download the CV behind any application - from the home screen or the tracker - as PDF or Word, with a preview before you save.
- Suggestions now follow your CV's own language and are written in first person, even when the job posting is in another language.
- Your ATS score fills in automatically when you add an application.
- Score fixes: the number you see while editing now matches the score you get after re-measuring.
