Worth every penny. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Requires mandatory note paper or second screen *2025-02-24, version 1.0.3* The in game notepad is only so helpful because you can’t copy and paste. Once you hit level 3 you need to CONSTANTLY check the notepad again and again, costing you time you can’t make up for. So get ready to write it down or dictate it to another device. Not a very good standalone mobile game, is it? Also, you had better be ready to watch your botnet like a hawk. Here’s how your play session will go: Breathe a few times, increase botnet. Check one detail for the mission, increase botnet. Also i agree with the other reviewer who is disappointed your game gets terminated after the goal. Ridiculous, there should be free play. This game in summary worked very hard to earn 1 star. ### 1/5 — Eh... *2018-11-04, version 1.0.3* This game is pretty boring, its not even close to being like uplink (no awesome soundtrack, no 2000’s internet age vibes, and there are only 3 mission types). Also, as soon as you hit the money limit, game-over. Can’t play that save anymore, no “freeplay”. Considering the last update was 3 years ago, this is never going to be fixed. Would refund this if I had the choice- not worth 3$. ### 2/5 — Could be fun *2016-09-12, version 1.0.3* This game has a lot of potential but it is way too difficult, even on the easiest difficulty setting. You level up jobs way too quickly, meaning you don't get any time to practice your new learned skills before having to move on to much more complicated processes. There needs to be much more slower progression so that you're not caught out within your third job attempt. Interactive (beginner) tutorial, buggy. I delete files from log folder and empty out trash bin as per instructions. Game won’t proceed. None of my Trojans were getting caught because the targets all have security level 4. Although it would be helpful to give tips on how to manage Interpol status. That part is a bit unclear. I like that social engineering is part of this game.
