The character designs are so good. Everything about the game has great potential to be big. The problem is, matching takes so long. I wasn't able to match in squads for more than an hour. Checking the game's socials no wonder it take so long. There's no new promo for the game. What seems to be the official account for the game hasn't posted since 2019 but has more than 10k followers which is more than the amount of reviews it has. Imagine how much it could've grown since then. Even the Japanese account is on private. A lot of the OG players love the game and want to continue to play the game but the lack of promotion doesn't allow for an active server, in NA atleast.. ### 4/5 — Rules of Survival?... *2022-08-22, version 1.0.50* Rules of Survival was an awesome Battle Royal game from NetEase Games as well. I played it since 2013 for 4 years until I filled up my storage on my iPad and the app offloaded. After a year, I could finally redownload it. I said I’d start playing again after my classes were over. I was saddened to discover that the game had been shut down as of June 27, 2022. Nothing works anymore, I wish I knew why they shut it down... Anyways, this game here looks a lot like ROS and is also a battle royal game. I hope it does ROS justice and act as a rebound for me. RIP Rules of Survival. Funny Story is I found out about the game because I searched online for a book of the same name. ### 3/5 — Hackers and others *2022-01-12, version 1.0.50* This game is really fun to begin with. If looking for a game that is challenging and yet really easy to understand and play; this game is one of them. This game is much like PUBG, it is easier but has has its own unique features like build structures, barriers among with other stuff, it makes it really fun. But his game has a big problem, when it first came out. I per Oder and I was one of the first people to play it. I toke a break or deleted this game because it had some hackers and bug that I could not wait to get fix some I tried other games to wait it out. I came back, first day of play this game went soundly. But the second day, there were so many hackers. I meet the same three hackers two games in a row. I could not re-port because on the re-port list, there’s not hacker included. If the creators or part of the team that made this game possible sees this review, please deal with the hacker and fix the re-port list by adding thing like hacker as a choice. Than start listening to the repot and review them please, I really like this game when I don’t meet hackers. It’s so unique and fun to play this game. Please and thank you. ### 3/5 — Against what rules? *2021-12-24, version 1.0.50* I downloaded this game a while back but didn’t really try it until this season. I now play daily. Recently I received a few messages (today being the second one) saying I had a point deducted for playing against the rules. What rule was broken and how exactly can I break a rule? I play on a 1st gen iPad Air for crying out loud. The only thing I can think of is waiting at the other teams spawn point, which seems to be quite normal from most players. If that is the case, should I be reporting people? Should I wait around the corner instead? This would easily be a 5 star game but if people are whining because they lose, maybe it isn’t as cool a game as I thought. And if my credit score is now 99, does that mean I have 99 more times someone can cry about losing before I get kicked out? Kinda let down but I guess that’s what I get for playing a mobile game. ### 3/5 — Good game, but this needs to stop. *2021-02-04, version 1.0.48* I’ve been playing CH for a while now– since 2019– and the game has really gotten better with each update, and the quality is, as always, god-tier. If anyone would like to know if this game is worth it, it absolutely is! While more experienced players can enjoy a more animated, high-quality battle royale game with multiple unique features, beginners can grow as a player, especially with the help of auto-aim. In fact, my complaint is on auto-aim. While I would definitely recommend beginners to use it, more and more “experienced” players depend on auto-aim while in-game. It is absolutely infuriating, especially with game modes like Squad Assault where gun level, strategy, and overall experience should be what gives you the win, not some training wheel you should have taken off a long time ago. I simply ask that there is a level limit for auto-aim. ### 4/5 — If you could plz read this!!!! *2020-11-13, version 1.0.46* This is a amazing game!!! I love the graphics the art style I love that you can customise your character into detail and I love that there’s different types of clothing you can put on your characters to make it your own vibe and you get to meet a lot of nice people on the server but The game when I was trying to get into it it was doing it’s new download thing and whatever and then I clicked the start button and it showed my account it froze it showed my character and everything and then it was saying that it had to reconnect and then I went back into the game and when I hit start it had erased my account and then I tried to follow the policy and then I tried to reboot it and then I even tried to login with my Apple ID my email and everything but it wasn’t working and It completely deleted everything and I would really appreciated if you could email me and try to get my account back because I really love this game and I love playing and I really do not want to try to restart The game because I had some really good friends on there and I had some clothing that I worked hard to put on my character and then I started to get good ranks on The game but if you would please just try to email me and I’ll give you all the information that you need I just really want my account back. Thank you so much for putting your time to reading this!!!! ### 4/5 — Good-ish *2020-07-20, version 1.0.41* I’m not going to give a lower review because of this, because it could be me having an outdated phone, but it keeps crashing. Constantly. I open it up. It crashes. You get released the waiting area. You die. It crashes. You’re surrounded by 3 other players who are all shooting at each other. It crashes! And it’s not like you open the app back up and it leaves you were you were at. It makes open it as if it were the first time that day or whatever. Which is a solid 2 minutes. You can see how that’s a problem. When it’s not crashing it’s a really good game! I like the fact that you can’t just build your way out of situation most of the time, that you have to adapt to your surroundings. The quality of the looks are fantastic, just when it’s not crashing. Like I said, it could very well be that I’m playing on an outdated phone, but if crashing doesn’t stop soon I’m going to uninstall. Please and thank you. ### 4/5 — Best battle royale game I’ve played *2020-07-15, version 1.0.39* Cyber hunter is so fun and graphics are amazing. I play with my friends all the time. If cyber hunter turned into a video game I would buy the disc in an instant! It’s like PUBG and fortnite had a baby but someone gave it superpowers, it’s seriously better than both of them combined. I also love how we can get cool rewards and clothes/outfits without paying real money, but if you could make it where girls can wear guys clothes and vise versa I would love that. If you see this can you please fix this? I’ve been trying to get in cyber hunter but it’s been telling me that it’s detected “outdated data” and that I need to restart the app. Not sure how I restart the app, if it’s the restarting that is keeping me f,rom playing the game then I want to know who’s to restart it, if it’s the game having a horrible glitch then please fix it. I just wanna play my favorite game. If it helps- I hadn’t been on the game for about 2 months, then one day it says i have to restart the app. ### 3/5 — Unfairness *2020-04-16, version 1.0.35* The game overall is pretty good in my opinion. But the big problem I have currently right as of now is that I’ve been banned for “abnormal activity” and “hacking” and I have not done anything remotely like at all. Basically I’ve been banned for no reason and it is unfair to me. I’ve also spent money which also makes me more upset because I won’t be getting it back. I’ve written two reports to you guys and it’s only auto-generated messages which is also known you don’t actually check them. This very unfair to me and my friends are also upset because they also know I have not done anything to get banned. I need you to appeal it because there are other people who actually do hack but are not banned from the game permanently or temporarily. ### 4/5 — I LOVE THIS APP BUT... *2020-04-05, version 1.0.35* Cyber hunter is by far my favorite battle royale game out there.. It has the best skins, skills, maps and just the best layout. There’s so much stuff in this app that you can do and it’s so fun to play with friends! There are a few problems ive had though, first off please could you guys fix the lag!! Before s6 my phone was able to run at highest quality everything and never lagged.. now even on the lowest quality it still tends to lag.. SECOND of all please fix the mouse showing up on the screen after reviving in squad assault on PC, it’s so annoying and wastes time having to turn it off everytime. Also is it possible you guys could add messaging on text through PC? I know it’s not efficient as the controls are on keyboard but it would be helpful to communicate if you can’t have mic on... ALSO what the heck are the “hot” comments? They’re hilarious but make no sense LOL ### 4/5 — It’s good but.... *2019-12-07, version 1.0.28* Ok so I stayed on the online game then I had to go get something so I left the game open while I was on a online game (I was hiding in a tree) I came back a couple minutes later and went downstairs to continue playing it but then it started glitching out then it sent me back to the home screen I was like “ok that’s fine I can get a new team and start over” but when I went to the home screen..all my PROGRESS was gone! I was back at level 1 I was at level 20 and I had worked so hard to get to level 20 and I spent MONEY on my clothes but now there all gone! This has happened to me 3 times so I decided to finally write a review I don’t know if Thai has happened to other players but it has happened to me. Please game developers fix this problem because I don’t want other players have to go through this, the game is still fun it’s amazing! But please fix it and if you can get back to me that would be great! -Ice ### 3/5 — Awesome.....However *2019-12-02, version 1.0.28* I love this game. Great graphics and many fun people to go against. However it could use some new maps and other modes to make it more enjoyable. And also the lag should really be fixed. There’s some glitches when you spectate a friend and the screen goes into a blitz mode screen. But other than that highly recommend the game. I even stop playing PUBG Bc I like this game so much. I’m switching my rating to a three star. After playing this game since season two, I’ve noticed a lot of things that needs to improve. Like one the sentinel gun needs to be nerfed dramatically. I’m not understanding how it can over power a crusader. Also it’s too many aim bot hackers on the NA server that’s becoming a huge issue. Also we really needs a new map. At least fornite haves many new maps and location. ### 3/5 — Please consider *2019-11-13, version 1.0.27* This game is really amazing, but besides the awesome style of the game, it really isn’t that different then any other battle royal game. The most unique thing about this game is the face customization which is amazing and detailed. You can make unlimited different faces with. For you guys, all that I can say is that players can design their own face and have some pretty useful things called drone skills. This game has an awesome cyber punk character and vehicle design but not so much for the island. When I think of a cyber punk warfare I would imagine a bunch of skyscrapers and roof tops battles or maybe a ruined city with weird biochemical all over the place. These are just suggestions and I know that it would take a lot of work to make them happen but seriously this is just any other battle royal game with nice style. Please make this game more unique, more original, and more cyber punk. And also please respond to this to let some gamers know that you guys care and read our reviews other wise I will lower my rating. Edit: The new update is a whole lot of bs. This game got a posting area called Moments and in the new update, it shows whatever picture you posted onto to All chat. Another bothersome result of the update was that it takes a lot longer to put you into a game. ### 4/5 — Super addicting, fun game to play with friends *2019-08-16, version 1.0.20* I really enjoy the game and it’s a great way to interact with people and play with your friends. You can literally do lots of things without having to pay and I recommend to buy a season pass if any of you are thinking of spending money on the game. Buying credits seems to be a hassle since most of the items you obtain aren’t even permanent, but items in season pass are and the more you level up in the season you can earn credits that way and still have to option to spend some. I wish there was more customization options for hairstyles especially for girls/Zero’s character but other than that really good game with lots of versatility. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Game system is trash *2020-08-30, version 1.0.45* Whoever programmed this game or made this game needs to stop crashing the player’s game. This month, this game kicked me out of my matches 3 times already. I would understand if this problem occurs once. HOWEVER, this is not an issue that only happened once. Many of the users that also played this game hated the game because of its horrible systems and it’s terrible updates. I have friends that complained to me about it and I have to say I AGREE WITH THEM. Please fix your game system and solve the issues that the users, playing this game, are FACING. I was very surprised that even the company’s name is censored lol, as if they are trying to avoid users criticizing them for some poor gameplays (usually very reasonable points) through pretending the problem never exists (ofc it won’t exist if there’s no freedom of speech, but it’s just a game lol). There are also a bunch of other censored words, but those are more understandable. So in short, this game and the NetEase group are trying to establish the Chinese censorship in US, so if you are a conscientious citizen and a conscientious individual, please please avoid this game and all games made by NetEase at all cost. You are helping the tyranny and the brutality with every single game, every single download, or even your slightest attention to this game. Peace out. ### 1/5 — Not worth the download. *2020-01-11, version 1.0.30* The game is ran by a bunch of money hungry Chinese who never correct glitches or bugs. All skills have a clear lag, often times you are unable to continue playing due to the extreme amounts of coding errors found in this game. If you manage to get past all the glitches, you’re greeted by a toxic community that the games created by incorporating a “moments” section where explicit photos can be shared which in return creates a breeding ground to pedophiles and eThots. Outfits in this game are extremely expensive and unlikely to receive due to absurdly low probiliity rate and to make things worse, the game makes a time limit and broadcast that it is limited, making people quickly drop hundreds of dollars for an outfit that players hope to be unique some day, only to be scammed because the game reintroduces it some weeks later. Highly disappointed ### 1/5 — The most recent update *2019-12-26, version 1.0.28* 2 days ago, when the game updated to announce the new character, the game devs updated the look of all of the weapons and modified zeros gameplay. i and many of the people i play with absolutely hate it. she runs like a gorilla and is incredibly slow. she runs exactly like a pubg character but it’s exactly why i left pubg in the first place!!!! because she running was disgusting! with these modifications came many new glitches such as not being able to move left and right as well as some skins not being compatible anymore resulting in their loss of effect. i personally cant hear any announcements anymore such as “enemies up ahead” or when someone crosshairs supplies. The game devs have completely altered their “futuristic” concept to fit a more realistic mainstream look and nobody likes it. please revert back to the version applied 2 days ago and fix this new update or me along with HUNDREDS of other players will be deleting. thanks. ### 1/5 — Great game but... *2019-05-27, version 1.0.17* Unfortunately this game is riddled with try hard Japanese players that wont even let you move an inch without shooting you COMPLETELY DEAD. Unless you enjoy dropping down to only get completely obliterated by Try Hard japanese sweats that kill you in seconds. Just a little heads up, NetEase should definitely update the game to make it less easier to kill your opponents in seconds from across the map... It makes the game not fun in any way whatsoever, and Im a season pass holder and I own a year of Black card privileges which really shows you a lot. Take this game with a grain of salt because unless you’re fricking a Pro Esports gamer from Japan you’re not going to enjoy this game or like it whatsoever. ### 1/5 — WHAT HAPPENED TO MY GAME?? *2019-05-24, version 1.0.17* I just downloaded this game today because the creators are also the creators of many games I enjoy playing so I knew this game would be perfect for me. And I was right it was. I was playing it for 2 hours straight and it was just wonderful, a small little weird things that happened like when I first started playing the tutorial it didn’t show what I had to do so I just aimlessly walked around. Another one was that for some reason no sound was playing. I had my sound full blast and everything on but no audio was produced. And this is the final thing that broke me. I was playing a match but I got killed so I left the game. I come back and all of a sudden my character is deleted?? I spent two hours playing this wonderful game and then when I start it up it shows that character creation screen?? What am I supposed to do? How do I fix this problem?? Will I be able to get her back? ### 2/5 — Lost my level. *2021-12-31, version 1.0.50* I was level 30 and out of no where I got kicked from the game and my level had reset, k didn’t notice until it said “level 2” and I had checked and my level was reset. I reloaded multiple times and my friends even said my level had been reset. I’m not exactly sure who to contact to get it fixed but writing a review might help people understand where this game is at right now. It’s graphics are amazing everything in fact is amazing but the resetting levels out of nowhere honestly is a bummer and just really didn’t encourage me to play that much anymore. Hopefully I can get this fixed but if not I see no use to own that app as much, I even spent money on this app so I honestly am a bit angry but it’s whatever minor difficulties that could probably get fixed if some actually payed attention. ### 2/5 — so disappointed... *2021-05-12, version 1.0.48* i absolutely love this game and can play for hours but i’m getting ready to delete. first of all, the only modes i play are battle royale and faction showdown because i can NEVER match on the other modes. second, there are waayyyyyy too many hackers and it’s gotten to the point where i’m going into a match to be obliterated on site because of the hackers. third, in faction showdown, i get matched with bots ALL THE TIME SO MY TEAM IS ALWAYS LOSING!!! also, how does it make sense to match me on battle royale with really advanced players after not doing so well? it’s such a huge disadvantage because i’m mostly on mobile but pc players get the upper hand all the time so it doesn’t make sense to pair them both into one game. lastly, the in app purchases are way too expensive and definitely not reasonably priced. if there isn’t a change soon, i’m definitely deleting this game which is so sad because i love playing but i’m getting tired of all these issues. ### 2/5 — Had promise *2020-08-07, version 1.0.41* It has a lot of great potential but this is just another pay to win game. It has a lot of great features that makes it fun to play but There is just no way you get killed with 2 bullets with full armor and all your health by someone who pays (witch you can easily tell apart by the overpriced guns and skins they have). The game has a lot of bugs, constantly freezes your player gets stuck and there’s hackers by the bunch. Always gettinf killed by someone underground. the most annoying thing is that you can even see the gun status like damage,recoil, mag, capacity, firing distance etc etc which makes it impossible to pic a gun style . if you dont have the upgrades they give you when you purchase the pass you won get kills as easily. It could be a great game but pay to win games dont last long. ### 3/5 — Please bring back vs bots mode *2022-04-18, version 1.0.50* The game has many hackers, even with a new acct you can see on the kill cam that hackers will lock onto you through the wall and even fire just before coming around the corner/wall so maybe a few bullets hit the wall but it guarantees the very first bullets around the corner will come your way. Almost like auto fire but without any line of sight. And they will anticipate your moves perfectly EVERYTIME. Consider bringing back bots mode and adding nice outfits to the shop? Maybe you can make money from those of us who like vs bots mode? Because the other option for me is to just not play as I don’t want to feed the cheaters( and who wants to play when you have such a disadvantage?) i wanted to suggest the bots mode be worked in again so more players can enjoy and maybe netease can even make more money before they shut this game down? Just be sure to add outfits along with bots mode and I’ll contribute, but not if I can only play against hackers. The graphics to this game is great. Some times there is a lot of bots but that’s okay when u go against real people it’s very intense. Each gun is very unique they way it shoots its form and everything. I have played many shooting Games and I compared it with cyber hunter. Other games have a form of shooting that doesn’t feel powerful and doesn’t feel as strong it seems like your shooting out of a nurf gun which is just horrible but cyber hunter u can feel the power coming out of the gun which is so interesting especially when u play pc it’s like your a God it’s so amazing I highly recommend this game. I mainly recommend it to iPhones and PCs. I have a cheap Samsung that i tried to play cyber with it was trash so I recommend like a higher quality phone. 😘 thank you for reading ### 5/5 — NO BUT! *2020-07-14, version 1.0.39* This game is incredible. I’ve just been introduced recently and I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole. Every review I’m reading here says it’s amazing, but... I have no but! The map is so much fun, the weapons are exactly as functional as they need to be, the droid skills! I love my droid. Having the capability of creating different configurations to switch between (in game! amazing!) has been so much fun for utilizing different gameplay methods. I’ve played a lot of games, of all different kinds, and this has quickly become one of my favorites. NOT TO MENTION! The cosmetic capabilities and exchange mall are amazing. Being able to create multiple players is so much fun - I’ve created a whole squad that wear all black with kitty face masks. So cute. I love this game. Kudos to the developers for working as hard as they did to create this experience for us, your work is so greatly appreciated. ### 5/5 — Change some things *2020-02-15, version 1.0.34* Developers I hope you’re reading this! The game is amazing, but there’s some changes that needs to be made. For instance the droid skills; there are only five main droid skills that are used—the rest are useless. We need more droid skills that are useful for all players. The quantum cubes to use droid skills needs to be lowered or there has to be an increase to the amount of quantum cubes to be carried since they are rare to find. Unless you implement a way to farm quantum cubes which would be better than finding them or looting them from other players. Weapon damage from all weapons needs to be nerfed; dying within 3 seconds by an smg while wearing an epic armor is complete bs. There needs to be a damage indicator to see the amount of damage being taken. Also a health bar with an hp indicator to see the exact number of hp you have. Separate PC and Mobile lobbies—PC lobbies shouldn’t be shared with mobile lobbies because of the skill gap between different gaming systems. PC has a better advantage against mobile players which is really unfair when it comes to any game mode. Skill based matchmaking needs to be implemented too. Sure you have bots, but playing with other players with similar skill levels based on stats and etc would be more fair. There’s a lot to implement in this game since it has so much potential. I hope you do implement these changes. ### 5/5 — Amazing Game *2020-01-11, version 1.0.30* I am ultimately obsessed with this game it is absolutely better than fortnite although I do still play. After a couple of my friends showed me this game I just got addicted. Graphics are so much better than fortnite and are very smooth. Cyber hunter is a fun and exciting game but there is just one problem. The developers of this game did not really tell you how to use stuff such as vouchers and titanium aloy. I got rewarded with 5 extraordinary vouchers but all the description said was “ use now” or something like that. I had to learn from a friend that you needed 10 extraordinary vouchers to get something from the masters supply and 5 legendary voucher to do the lucky spin. I do wish the developers of the game consider this fixing this problem, but other then that, this game is so much better than any other game I’ve played. ### 5/5 — Dear Cyber hunter ( your down fall this season ) *2019-12-18, version 1.0.28* I been playing this game since it came out and I can’t with the fact that this season 5 you lose stars when u get top 10 with more than 8 kills and u still lose stars like NETCASE what the actual f. I don’t remember losing stars when I was top 10 and even if I lost I would still get a star for all my kills but nooo this new season decided to be extra and drop all of us ..... I honestly have no words to describe how disappointed this game is getting every season is getting old bring back the normal aces ain’t nobody need animals to know when ur ace or not and the fact that on ace u loseeee stars even on 3rd or 2nd place its amazing .... I really Hope you guys change your game sooom into the old cyber hunter ... AND FOR THE SAKE OF GOD separate pc players from mobile it’s not fair for us who actually try they take the fun out of the whole game ### 5/5 — One issue //: *2019-12-16, version 1.0.28* I’ve had this game for a long time, but for some reason, starting a month or so ago by now, the game kept kicking me off saying it wasn’t updated or something? However, the App Store never showed that it needed updates so I deleted and reinstalled it, but it still didn’t work. This game is wonderful, and I absolutely love the character customization. Getting items (from events, not the store) is actually attainable and the gameplay is fun! I love that teammates actually work together and talk. However, due to the issue of being kicked off, I’ve deleted the game. I did enjoy it while it lasted ((: I recommend expanding its uses though, adding guns and vehicles and whatnot. Though the selection is very large as it is, it’d be cool to get more and even unique weapons just for the game. Can’t help it it’s addicting, from the graphics to the game play. Another factor which drew me to the game itself is you don’t actually need to spend money to get gear. This game allows you to easily access cool gear. Which I love. What’s even more enticing is the character customization it puts this game as my favorite battle royal game. Not ever character is alike everyone has their own style. Surprisingly but thankfully this game draws more grown..mature players so the gameplay experience is fascinating with a much older audience/players. Suggestions: If you will ever read this... Please upgrade the customization to include body and also more hairstyles, to advancing the extremes of the facial features. I’m sure this will set the bar high for other mobile battle royal games. Please take this into consideration. I’ll keep watching for more updates to better the game. Other than that this game is a must try after one game your hooked. Update: my rating went down mostly because of the crashes Please add long hair!!!!! ### 5/5 — One of the best BR games on iOS *2019-10-19, version 1.0.23* I have played every Battle Royale game from realm royale, call of duty blackout, fortnite, to creative destruction. This is by far one of the best ones I’ve played, even including console games. The controls feel very comfortable and it runs very fast and smoothly on my older iPad Air 2. This game features a lot of innovative features that make it stand out: upgrade your weapons by finding a “core” piece on the map, skills that are actually fun to use and very effective (gliding whenever you want, storm protection). On top of those are the skills that you can assign to your character that cost a small amount of the quantum stuff that you gather around the map. These are very helpful and can have a high skill gap. It is not pay to win, and takes the best pieces out of the better BR games out there and combines them into something almost perfect. Highly recommend to any gamer out there. ### 5/5 — Brilliant *2019-08-15, version 1.0.20* I’m obsessed with this game tbh I love the details in everything they have for it , character customization, the landscape even has active players shown as well, it’s great , (I mean when your in the air you can still see other players they don’t just disappear because your high) and even in the loading screen the movements ,you even get the choice to play vs real or bots to train and practice, the cloths are to die for and are easy to obtain which is nice being able to get the good looking cloths without having to buy them , and even there response time was extremely fast , and very kind not only did they apologize but they also gave me a little coins for the inconvenience I appreciated that most of all , really would tell you to play ### 5/5 — ‼️Best RPG/ Battle Royale type game PERIOD ‼️ *2019-08-13, version 1.0.20* Out of all gaming platforms and games within those platforms, Cyber Hunter has outdone every single one. From the character customization to the actually amazing community around it, the invitation is welcoming and friendly with awesome some pretty awesome competition. The actual map literally can’t get old, and the visual scenery is exactly what I’ve always hoped for. The gameplay itself is wicked, let me tell you. It’s like perfection got dumped all over it. The weaponry is perfect no matter what you like or how you play you will quickly find the perfect fit.
