I tried to get refund but no luck. “Customer Service” just emailed me this long snapshot of their rules and said nope on the refund. You’ve got to jump through many, many steps to cancel the service. There’s better programs, apps, and companies elsewhere. ### 1/5 — Worked one time then nothing *2022-07-18, version 1.0.6* Well upon first inspection of app, it appeared to work as expected. Just checked my IP address while using the app and it totally gave my isp home IP address. Thought I would try the browser in my IPAD Pro , which has become my primary work device. Downloaded the browser to try and did not find it usable. Would hang on every other page. The interface is circa 2000 is capability. Very few controls. No easy way to add and manage favorites, no concept or construct for bookmarks at all. config options minimal, drop down menu takes you to 4 options, Page options does not retract 80% of the time on IPad, and doesn’t respond well to mouse controls ( or touch for that matter). Until it just stopped working altogether. The launch page opens and nothing further, though it appears to try for a second or two. Before posting a critical review like this thought I'd try and report to them first, but if there is a direct contact page/field I sure couldn't find it. The one page I •did• find referencing a Support Department contact misspelled 'departement' which might not be a big deal to some, but when you're talking about issues of privacy and security you kind of want indications of competence - that didn't help the final score here either. Finally, I can't help but wonder if the sudden failure is due to the fact that I have not signed up for an account. If this is a recent attempt to change the model into a ongoing paid subscription service on top of the purchase fee, then the app will stay permanently deleted. Hope you'll keep enjoying it! 👻 ### 5/5 — Don’t read other reviews yet.. *2020-11-25, version 1.0.4* I think the developers should have renamed this app & list it as a brand new, instead of 8yrs old, with no reviews since 2014 and now app-updated until Aug, 2020.. So I stumbled onto this app after downloading their VPN app. Started looking into it, read their description & advertised photos, everything looked good. However, when I went over the USER reviews I noticed they were all 6yr+ old.. Every time I do this, I like to specifically open the Review drop down & select the “most recent” option. When I did this here on this app something really odd happened. Every “recent” review was at least 6yrs Old or Older! Normally this selection would be showing reviews made over the past few days to a week ago, so it was a surprise when they were all 6yrs old! I thought that there might be a technical problem, so I checked over ALL the reviews. That confirmed it for me, everything was at least 6yrs old... All of those made me think that this app is probably a dead app, an app that’s no longer supported by its creator. I opened their app update history to see when was the last time that this app had any updates at all. But here again, I was taken back by what I saw, only 3 total updates. The first was from 8 Years ago and the other 2 were done just 3 months ago..! That’s when I realized that every single review was in regards to the original version of this app.. As such, I considered it to be a new/untested app & downloaded it, to see if it’s something that could be beneficial.. Basically, all of those reviews are like reading reviews for Wine 97’ when in reality this is the newest/current version Windows, vastly different from its original.. I plan to update this apps rating, good or bad, after trying it out for a little while or so. If it’s anything like their other 2 apps, I’m sure that it will be worth it! ### 5/5 — Full anonymity, great functionality *2013-11-17, version 1.0* The hidden IP address is amazing. I love the speed of loading under wifi networks. I am feeling completely safe that nobody is tracking my every move on the internet. It's freeing.
