I am a CyberGhost VPN subscriber who used Photo Vault to store my images in a (more) secure manner. Unfortunately, the app all of a sudden began crashing upon open. Despite all of my attempts to recover my lost images, it seems they’re forever gone thanks to CyberGhost’s failure to update the app/publish its privacy policies. Consequently, I’m canceling my VPN subscription, which I’ve had for many years.

Crashed and lost all my photos. Some were sentimental. Downloaded again. But doesn’t change the fact that I lost all my photos.

Update: Recent app download crashed again. This is ridiculous.

App ist an sich eine gute Idee. Die App stürzt nur ständig ab. Vor allem beim Löschen. Solche Keyfeatures sollten schon funktionieren bevor man eine App veröffentlicht.

I loaded this app approximately a month ago with my pictures now I am unable to access them or get into the app. The app was installed on my Apple IPad.   I will be waiting on a response and will follow up.

An sich keine schlechte App nehme ich an. Sie stürzt allerdings ständig an.  Beim Übertragen von Bildern, als auch unmittelbar nach dem Öffnen der App. Schade

I’ve only had the app installed for 24 hours and it’s locked up on me at least 4 times. Mainly while trying to do the import but once simply just scrolling. But my biggest problem is that when you first launch the app you can clearly see the Home Screen for a brief second before the Lock Screen appears, which clearly shows the 1st picture in your albums! Not much need for a Decoy Mode after that...

I quickly found this is crippled & basically a sales pitch for CyberGhost VPN. 

The VPN was an installation nightmare on an iMac. Support is a sick joke & screened by CAPTCHA. I canceled before activating. The one benefit? Fast, nice, no BS refund processing!

I’VE BEEN A “CYBERGHOST” PAYING CUSTOMER SINCE I THINK 6-8 YEARS, AND AT THE BEGINNING OF 2024-5 THE CYBER GHOST APP FOR THE WINDOWS COMPUTER WAS FANTASTIC, IT WAS WHAT ONE WOULD WANT WHEN LEARNING CYBER SECURITY.  PLUS THE INTEGO ANTIVIRUS IT ALL SEEMED SO NICE.  NOW IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR AND A HALF OF PAID MEMBERSHIP WITH ONLY ABOUT HALF THE APP WORKING.  I’LL BE HONEST I DON’T EVEN USE VPN BECAUSE YOU KNOW MOST WEBSITES IN REAL LIFE WILL NOT ACCEPT IT.  BUT LIKE THE DEVICE AS A SECURITY PROGRAM WELL WHAT’S GOING ON DEVS?  CAN WE GET SOME LOVE OUT HERE?

Alle Daten leider weg. Die App stürzt direkt nach dem Starten ab. Komme an keine Daten mehr. Support mehrmals kontaktiert, interessiert niemanden. Gehen nicht einmal auf das Problem ein. Update kommt seit Jahren nicht. Da ist man bei NordVPN deutlich besser aufgehoben!

I accidentally hit the “Tap a Star to Rate” while trying to review l the User Reviews.. I somehow did 1 star then corrected it to 5 stars & Im sticking with the 5 stars. I haven’t had, seen, or experienced anything negative about this all. So far it’s done everything exactly as advertised!! 
  To be fair & transparent, I’ve only been using this app for less than 1 day. Ideally I would have waited before making a review but like I’ve already stated, accidentally clicked the rating stars. I do plan to update this, positive or negative, with a proper personal opinion/review. For now, I’m extremely happy with this free app! So much so that I have also downloaded their private browser & their paid subscription VPN service.

I love the idea of a locked photos app, but it refuses to give me premium features when im on my free trial :(

Would be a great app if it didn’t show the last downloaded picture/video and didn’t crash when you tried deleting a picture/video.

The app shows the last photo added to the vault before prompting password, it should not show any of the contents until the password is entered otherwise is a great app, much like the VPN

I like the app but, the cloud storage doesn’t work. I can only store my images on one device and there’s no way to transfer them to another. And there’s literally no info on how to fix this on the CyberGhost website.
