I was taught using this by very astute teachers. I benefitted from that, but this software allows what if I had to ghost every partial it would be really reckless and overly long. Takes too long to sample notes compared to other tuning apps. Automatic note switching is only for adjacent notes. Very overpriced app for older technology. Indicator blushing occurs over a wide range of pitch, not as precise as other apps. Have to clean up break by ear or use the time consuming AI mode which sometimes doesn’t always do a good job compared to other apps. If you don’t have strong aural tuning skills you’d be better suited with another app that doesn’t require as much clean up of the tuning. Pitch raising is only based on nearby sample notes. It doesn’t take in account what is coming after, only the notes that have come before. Piano tuning is tedious enough ☺️ iRCT is a remarkable product in so many ways, and I sure don't miss the old Pocket PC/Pocket RCT, or Sanderson Accutuner, for that matter. But the CyberCare subscription for $80 every year may be debatable, especially given the $1,000 original purchase price and the limited number of updates and feature additions.
