### 5/5 — First time I’ve tuned a piano due to quarantine.

*2020-07-05, version 7.9.4*

I love my piano tech but I treat covid patients and he’s older so I don’t want him over. He’s tuned my Yamaha C6 for 15 years. The last few months I’ve been playing on the digital because the C6 Grand is out of tune.

I found this, watched some videos in hammer and pin technique, and my first tuning with this program took 2 hours. It sounds wonderful, not like some amateur tunings on YouTube. I’m sure it won’t be as stable as long as my tech’s tunings, but I have my acoustic piano back and now will probably “touch it up” occasionally in between his tunings, assuming they can resume. Generally I just have him tune twice per year when the seasons change as we don’t always keep our temp the same.

I had trouble getting it to sense the top couple notes but I never play those anyway and just did those by ear, which is basically a guess anyway up that high.

### 5/5 — Amazing

Really amazing software. Able to make my Tunings super stable!

### 5/5 — The Quintessential Tool

*2020-04-06*

I’m a concert technician of 20 years...4-5 concert venues per week. Tune mostly Steinways for C&A, store and in customers’ homes. I would never have made it to where I am today without this tool.
It is a “must!”

### 5/5 — Simply Outstanding!

*2020-01-12*

I learned aural tuning 30 years ago from my dad, who tuned for the Minnesota Orchestra. Later on, we both used digital tuners made by other companies through the years. I had watched other tuners use the RCT and thought it would be good to try it someday. Some time ago a tuner friend let me borrow his iRCT to tune a fortepiano with an historic temperament. WOW! So I finally made the decision to get this App at the end of 2019. It’s the best move I’ve ever made! The precision & flexibility is just AMAZING. Pitch corrections are dead-on. My clients & I are stunned at how beautiful their pianos sound. They were really quite good before, but this is another level altogether! Thanks Reyburns!

### 5/5 — Merci !

*2020-01-07*

Excellent accordeur électronique. Utilisé tous les jours.

### 5/5 — Does what says, very well

*2020-01-06*

The more I use it, the better I and it gets.

### 5/5 — Indispensable.

*2019-11-05*

You can always go back to aural tuning, but this app is foolproof when it comes to raising and lowering pitch which every tuning greater than +/- 4¢ has. After a pass, it settles back right on 0 for every note. Love it.

### 5/5 — I’m a brand new tuner

*2019-10-23*

I can tune pianos incredibly well and I’ve only been doing it for 1 month! I stopped trying to learn by ear because this is so good.

### 5/5 — Best professional tuning aid

*2019-07-30*

This app is the real deal! If you need it right, get this one!

### 5/5 — Un précieux outil

*2018-12-31*

### 5/5 — Pitch Perfect Piano Tuning

*2018-12-27*

Great program! Love the app!!
Pitch Raises in minutes, not hours,
Keep the upgrades comin.

Thanks!

### 5/5 — Pure 12th tuning

*2018-12-25*

Awesome. It’s like a 25 year old matured wine against a cheep box wine. If you like your tunings smooth and clear then have a go with this new scale. I love it. Dean you have done it again. Thank you so much for making me look so good.

### 5/5 — Great program

*2018-12-05*

When I started tuning a few years ago, the app was great. Now, understanding all the aspects of it, it has been the results astounding. The app easily! Pays for itself and the quality result is well worth the investment.

The P12 option has allowed me to generate insanely neat results on spinets and pianos commonly thought of as “junk” - a few calculations, and voila! Even “ye olde” sounds great. Not to say, it also has helped tremendously to have sub-bass option when tuning Bosendorfer Imperials.

### 5/5 — The One and Only

*2018-10-11*

I’ve been using CYBERTUNER for many years now professionally. I can’t say enough good things about it and the way it makes my job easier.
Thank you Dean and Nate Reyburn !

### 5/5 — Very intuitive

*2018-07-20*

An excellent program providing a faster and yet accurate experience, for this aurally trained piano technician of 40 years!

### 5/5 — CyberTuner

As a full time college and university this is just the right tool for ever changing environmental influences where our goal in always A440. Best pitch correction tool available!!

### 5/5 — Amazing Apps

*2017-09-24, version 7.6.0*

I dont how to say, i just can say its very very amazing apps :)

### 5/5 — Indispensable!

*2017-06-22*

I am a professional piano technician with 37 years experience, and started using Cybertuner almost 20 years ago-not long after Dean developed it for Macintosh. (Haha, I think I still have the floppy disk somewhere- serial number 73). I lugged my laptop to work for years so I could use RCT. With each new incarnation of the program I eagerly upgraded- with development of the Windows version I moved to a Pocket PC (which by the way I struggled with, being a Mac guy). But RCT on that device was a seamless transition. And when iRCT was announced I was overjoyed! Now my iPad mini running iRCT and FileMaker Go accompany me everywhere there is a piano, and there are a lot of them in my life. I owe much of my success to Reyburn CyberTuner. Thank you Dean!

### 5/5 — Just great

*2017-06-01, version 7.5.8*

Great ETD, great support.

### 2/5 — A bit outdated

*2024-07-09*

File system is antiquated, clumsy and time consuming. Takes too long to sample notes compared to other tuning apps. Automatic note switching is only for adjacent notes. Very overpriced app for older technology. Indicator blushing occurs over a wide range of pitch, not as precise as other apps. Have to clean up break by ear or use the time consuming AI mode which sometimes doesn’t always do a good job compared to other apps. If you don’t have strong aural tuning skills you’d be better suited with another app that doesn’t require as much clean up of the tuning. Pitch raising is only based on nearby sample notes. It doesn’t take in account what is coming after, only the notes that have come before. Very unreliable.

### 5/5 — One of the most full featured, customizable and reliable tuning assistants.

*2026-06-08*

It enables my Tenitus bound hearing - a ring like the sustaining C8, to be guided to accurate representations of any pleasing tuning stretch possible. I was taught using this by very astute teachers. I benefitted from that, but this software allows what if I had to ghost every partial it would be really reckless and overly long. This enables my tunings accurate through multiple passes throughout the instrument and at least at a professional result.

### 5/5 — Glad I finally switched

*2025-04-22*

I’ve been very happy with the app!

### 5/5 — Only App For Piano Tuning

*2025-03-20*

If you want the best result in one sitting, this is the app.

### 5/5 — Good

*2023-12-11, version 8.5.7*

This is a good app

### 5/5 — 😁👍

*2022-12-14, version 8.5.2*

Treadwas is Treads and Treadwa

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2022-01-27*

FINALLY--string section/break parameters are saved for each tuning record (right in the tuning file) and are recalled and entered automatically each time a tuning is selected in Smart Tune mode (and Pitch Raise also). Piano tuning is tedious enough ☺️ iRCT is a remarkable product in so many ways, and I sure don't miss the old Pocket PC/Pocket RCT, or Sanderson Accutuner, for that matter. But the CyberCare subscription for $80 every year may be debatable, especially given the $1,000 original purchase price and the limited number of updates and feature additions. Besides, just how many truly useful features can even be added to specialized software like this over time, or routine software maintenance, for that matter?

### 5/5 — This thing is priceless!

*2021-07-04*

My only request is to make it easier to move around the tuning files, such as adopting the “Files” interface and making it possible to move them around that way, instead of emailing etc.

I’m happy to pay the $80 per year to ensure that this app continues to exist and to get regular bug updates.

Thank you!!!

### 5/5 — Absolutely Fantastic!

*2021-04-26*

This is *the* app for professional technicians. I had used it to do a pitch-raise of over 200 cents, and landed within 10 cents across the whole keyboard. The Smart Tune setting is well worth the pric3.

### 5/5 — Worth every penny

*2021-01-06, version 7.9.7*

Courteous developers. Impeccable user design. Sturdy, reliable tool.

## Most praised reviews (1 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — CyberTuner app is great!

*2020-10-31*

Excellent app for a professional piano technician. I especially like the library of historical temperaments for tuning harpsichords and clavichords.
