## What is Cycle?

You are looking for a bike tracker that doesn't force you in to a subscription to be useful? Here you go: A bike computer built with data privacy in mind. No ads, no tracking and no data leaves your phone.

It shows the important things: Speed, distance, average speed, top speed, duration and the climb with a nice altitude profile of the trip. It also shows a clock, a compass and the GPS data. Units can be switched from metric to miles/feet.

If you want you can connect it to Health and store your trips as workouts and display your heart rate during the trip (if available).

You can switch to an analog vintage style tachometer and a button can turn on the camera flash as navigation light in case you are on a race bike in a tunnel. The app is perfect for my needs. I was looking for something to show speed and distance. The app settings allow for personalization. No data is collected. Well worth much more than a coffee.

Update: The only missing feature for me is the temperature. I would love to be able to toggle the clock or compass to show the temperature.

Die App macht dass was man sich von einem Fahrrad Tacho verspricht und bietet auch noch zusätzlich gute Funktionen. Der einzige kleine Änderungswunsch wäre meinerseits dass der Nutzer einstellen kann ob er eine analog oder digital uhr angezeigt bekommt. Wenn ich schnell auf meinem Rennrad fahre ist eine digitale einfacher zulesen und würde die App somit für mich noch besser machen

vielen Dank für deine Arbeit ist wirklich eine sehr schöne App geworden. Den Kaffee hast du dir verdient!
Was noch super wäre, wäre eine Kurzbefehl Integration, sodass man mit einem Kurzbefehl vom Sperrbildschirm direkt die Aufzeichnung starten kann.

Ich habe schon alle möglichen Programme ausprobiert - aber dieses übertrifft meine Erwartungen bei weitem: alles was ich brauche, kein unnötiger Schnickschnack. Ersetzt vollständig einen Fahrradcomputer - den hab ich entspannt abgebaut und entsorgt. Den Kaffee war es mir allemal wert.
Ich habe noch nie 5 Sterne vergeben, hier tue ich das gerne - der Fahrradtacho hat sie verdient.

Diese App lässt trotz der minimalistischen Art fast keine Wünsche offen und bietet mehr als viele andere Apps. 

Auch die kleineren Features wie die Lampe und die Klingel sind nützliche Tools, die man sonst nur bei Kauf oder Abo erwarten würde. 

Ein Programmierer, der schon so viel gibt, ohne zu verlangen, hat auf jeden Fall ein Obolus für die Kaffeekasse verdient 😉

Macht was es soll. Übersichtlich gestaltet und einfach zu bedienen. Was für mich noch interessant wäre: die Option zur automatischen Aufzeichnung der Tour bei geöffneter App.  Leider vergesse ich zu oft den Knopf zur
Aufzeichnung zu drücken oder nehme die Tour zu spät auf. Wäre so eine Option möglich? Liebe Grüße

Einziger Kritikpunkt: Irgendwie kriegt die App Pausen bzw. deren Ende nicht immer korrekt mit und zeigt dann deshalb eine höhere Durchschnitts- als Höchstgeschwindigkeit an. Was ja nicht wirklich geht... Die gefahrene Strecke stimmt dann, aber die Fahrzeit ist zu kurz, die Pausenzeit zu lang und deshalb die Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit (während der Fahrzeit) zu hoch. Ist aber mehr ein kosmetischer Fehler. 

Sehr wohltuend auch, dass keine persönlichen Daten gesammelt und übertragen werden. Und kein Abo... Da spendet man doch gern einen Kaffee. 

Manchmal hätte ich gerne anstatt des grossen Tachos oben eine kleine Karte, aber dann wäre es keine Tachoapp mehr natürlich.

Habe gern einen Cappuccino spendiert. Wenn ich mir etwas wünschen darf? Der Startstopknopf unten links in der Ecke ist etwas ungünstig platziert, weil man doch ab und zu versehentlich darauf kommt und nicht bemerkt, dass man die Aufzeichnung anhält. Entweder wäre hier eine kurze Rückfrage mit okay sinnvoll oder eine Umplatzierung des Buttons zb in die Mitte sinnvoll. Sonst 5 Sterne

Danke für diese zum Radfahren völlig ausreichende App. Alles was man auf einer Fahrt unmittelbar braucht. Übersichtlich und ohne lästige Werbung.
