## What is CyclePilot?

You've got a goal. Maybe your first 100-mile ride next month. Maybe a cycling marathon in the fall, or a multi-day tour across the Alps. Until then you have to ride regularly and keep getting stronger. And that's where the work nobody wants begins: checking the forecast every day, moving rides around, rebuilding your calendar after the rain moved on again.

CyclePilot takes that over. Fully automatically.

HOW IT WORKS

You tell CyclePilot once how you tick: which days you want to ride, at what times, how often per week, and how much weather you can handle. CyclePilot reads your calendar, keeps checking the forecast, and reschedules your rides on its own into the time slots that fit. No manual shuffling. No Sunday night spent re-sorting your whole week.

WHO CYCLEPILOT IS FOR

For ambitious amateur riders chasing a specific goal and willing to ride regularly for weeks. On a road bike, gravel bike, or the trainer. If you take your goals seriously but don't want to do planning work every day, you're in the right place.

WHAT CYCLEPILOT DOES FOR YOU

• Automatic rescheduling: rides move on their own to the days and times with the best weather, by your own rules.
• Calendar integration: CyclePilot works directly with your calendar instead of being yet another app working in isolation.
• Personal weather thresholds: you decide when a day counts as "rideable."
• Goal-oriented planning: a steady weekly target, or working toward one goal.
• Strava and Apple Health: your rides arrive automatically, no manual import.
• Your own routes: GPX import plus route suggestions built from your most-ridden loops.
• Indoor trainer: optional indoor rides fill the days when the weather won't play along.
• Apple Watch and widgets: today and the week on your wrist, your ride and due maintenance with battery levels on the Home and Lock Screen.
• Stay on it: weekly streaks, achievements, and progress you can share.
• Pair your sensors: heart rate strap, cadence, power, radar, and Di2 shifting on iPhone, with battery levels and a warning before a device dies mid-ride.
• Maintenance calculated ahead: chain, tires, and lights based on the rides you have planned, with a reminder three days early.
• Control Center and Action Button: view today's ride, replan the week, skip the day, or check maintenance without opening the app.
• Your plan stays yours: whatever you move by hand, the planner leaves alone. If the weather shifts, CyclePilot tells you instead of quietly rearranging your week.

BUILT FOR EVERYONE

CyclePilot is accessible from the ground up: full VoiceOver support, Dynamic Type for larger text, high-contrast colors, and haptic feedback, so planning your week stays comfortable with assistive technologies, too.

PRIVACY FIRST

Your ride and calendar data belong to you. CyclePilot is built for privacy, with no account required. If you sync via iCloud, your data stays in your private iCloud. The developer has no access to it.

TRY IT, THEN DECIDE

Try it free for 14 days. After that you decide for yourself: stay on a subscription (monthly, or the cheaper yearly plan) or own it for good with the one-time lifetime purchase, no subscription required. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically after 14 days, but CyclePilot reminds you two days before it ends so you can decide calmly.

CyclePilot is built natively for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac and fits into the Apple ecosystem you already use.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-18

Bug fixes

### 1.3 — 2026-08-12

Connect your bike and sensors: Pair your heart rate strap, cadence and power sensors, radar, or Di2 shifting right in CyclePilot. The app knows your devices' battery levels, warns you before they die mid-ride, and tells you ahead of time when your chain, tires, or lights need attention.

Control CyclePilot from Control Center or the Action Button without opening the app: view today's ride, replan your week, skip the day, or check upcoming maintenance.

New widgets for your Home and Lock Screen show today's ride and upcoming maintenance with battery levels at a glance.

Your rides stay the way you planned them: whatever you move or adjust by hand, the planner leaves alone. The calendar shows what you changed, and you can reset it anytime.

If the weather shifts after planning, CyclePilot tells you instead of quietly rearranging your week.

New in availability: set a maximum ride duration per time window, for days when you have time but don't want a long ride.

New Strava routes appear automatically when you open the app.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-21

New in CyclePilot 1.2

• Vacation mode for training breaks without losing your streak
• New monthly recap with your highlights, ready to share with friends
• Clearer explanations of which days CyclePilot plans your rides
• Combine recurring appointments with bike routes: now more than one combination possible
• More at a glance right on your Apple Watch
• Strava: route suggestions are now built from cycling workouts only, no longer counting runs
• Small design refinements and many bug fixes

### 1.1 — 2026-07-16

New in 1.1:
• Your Apple Health rides now on your Mac too: direct, end-to-end encrypted transfer from your iPhone, no cloud involved. Pair via Settings → "Connect Mac".
• A tidier ride list with year sections and a heatmap of the current year.
• A clear notice with alternatives if all Strava slots happen to be taken.
• Planner refinements and many smaller improvements.
