Nice options with the oaved, gravel, standard functions and shares the routes well with Garmin and other tools etc. Enough flexibility to force down a route you want to go by “extending to here” although an undo function would be great. Yes some roads may be gravel that say paved (or worse) but when you are touring that is part of the adventure😃 ### 5/5 — Simply the best *2025-10-05* Quite simply the best app for urban, quiet roads and long-distance routes. You can just plan with a finger swipe or two clicks, or integrate it with the desktop version to save detailed routes. Can import and export a wide variety of flavours of .gpx etc for bike computers etc. You can plan for on-road, off-road, gravel, hilly, and other route options, and it’s still the only route planner where you can specify a lit route at night. Plus all this is free - but there’s even more options if you pay a modest fee and become a supporter. ### 5/5 — Great for quiet lanes *2025-10-01* Ok, the interface is not as smooth as let’s say Google Maps, but the choice of lanes makes up for it. You can even get turn by turn navigation while being offline. ### 5/5 — My preferred cycle route making service *2025-07-27* This is by far the most approachable cycling app I have used, doesn’t bother with the extraneous distractions, just makes making great routes easy. Tip: can be useful to use the browser version on mobile to have more options, the app seems focused on following the route, if you want to edit routes the mobile browser version is very intuitive and convenient. ### 5/5 — Brilliant App *2025-06-28* Downloaded the app and put it to work on a 30 mile triangular route. Perfect cycling friendly navigation, advance warning of turns and very clear concise mapping. Second day in Wales. Much tinkering with too many settings which ought to be set to the obvious default. Third day trying to cycle through Cheshire, after riding 9 hours, I realised I’d ridden in a circle. Eight hours wasted. ### 1/5 — Can’t find a thing *2024-02-25* I can’t find routes unless you donate to become a donor but there is no info on fees or minimum “donation “ for services. ### 1/5 — Broken *2023-01-13* Nothing works. Can’t even tap on a menu item or move the map. It’s essentially just a static screen of my current location. One issue I have is it doesn’t reroute automatically and sometimes looses my precise location. I have to stop, restart the route planning to get a correct route. ### 4/5 — Game changer *2026-06-18* I live in Denver, CO, USA and though there are hundreds of miles of bike paths and bike lanes on the roads throughout the area connecting a route to get from point A to point B can be a challenge. This App is great. When I ask for a round trip it gives me loop rather than a simple out and back. The maps show all of the route options so I know where a trail goes when I cross intersecting trails. The audio directions and alerts, even while listening to music, allow me to turn off the screen. Try it for free and trust me you will quickly sign up to support this App every month. ### 4/5 — Easy navigation tool *2026-05-18* I am new to this app having switched from Ride With GPS. This app fits the bill for quick and easy use. The one improvement I would suggest is the ability to allow new Bosh e-bike systems to allow direct access. There appears to be no current and simple solution to this. ### 4/5 — Excellent with some caveats *2024-06-04* Better than Strava or other GPS apps for quickly generating routes that are actually optimized for cyclists. The display is intuitive and follows your location without sucking battery, helpful when my phone displays on long rides. The vocal commands are extremely strange (programmed in a foreign language) and therefore incomprehensible which means I cannot rely on audio and must keep the screen on my entire ride. ### 4/5 — Feature Request *2024-01-14* Absolutely fantastic app for commuting (paved & gravel) and worth the coffee subscription! Please add a function to upload GPX files so I can use for off road MTB action. I have been a supporter ever since I found it.😇 ### 5/5 — Great cycling app with some caveats *2025-10-30* I really like that it’s easy to see and plan with/around EuroVelo routes and other cyclist centered routes/bike paths. For this, this is the best app. I would like for it to be more user friendly in planning from the phone or iPad for example, using it on the fly on these devices makes it clunkier and not as easily accessible/plannable.
