## What is Cyclist Log?

Cyclist Log makes it very easy to track your cycling sessions, keeping a log of the distance and time taken for each ride.

● Use the built-in map to plan out a route, or if using an iPhone, simply track your course with GPS.*
● View a calendar showing which days you rode recently.
● View statistics and charts of weekly, monthly, and yearly progress.
● Categorize log entries with user-defined tags.
● Sync using iCloud (enable via Settings app).
● Share on dailymile.com, Twitter, Facebook.
● Import and export data in CSV format. Import GPX files.

Cyclist Log makes it easy to record the results of a session in a matter of seconds. You can also use Cyclist Log to review your cycling history, and plan new routes for future sessions.

You can simply use GPS if using an iPhone or, when you return from a ride, use Cyclist Log to record your session: The date and route are automatically filled in based on defaults. The time spent on your last ride for the route is also presented as the default. Simply adjust the minutes or seconds and you are done! Your speed will be shown to you.

To plan a new route to try in your neighborhood, go to the routes tab and bring up the map, which centers on your current location. Simply tap points on the map in order to create your route. When done, the route distance is automatically computed. If you cycle this route frequently, you can set it as the default.

You can view a calendar showing which days you rode recently. This makes it easy to decide if you are due for a ride today, or should take a break. You can also view statistics and charts showing weekly, monthly, and yearly summaries of your distance, time and pace. You can focus on rides of a particular type by filtering by tags.

*Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

### 4/5 — Have used it for 4+ years now

*2023-11-14*

I’ve been using this app for over four years, I am retired and ride five days a week up to 15 miles each time. I don’t need GPS. I don’t need a computer that I have to charge every day. I just want to list my rides and add the times that I have for those rides.

This app is excellent for that. I take the time off my bicycle computer and enter it manually in the app and it’s perfect for what I need. I recommend it highly.

### 5/5 — Still my favorite

*2020-10-09, version 2.4*

I have been using this app as well as their walk and run app since 2014. These are my favorite apps. They are so quick and easy to use. Putting data in, filtering the data, comparing info--all simple, quick, and intuitive.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2020-08-25, version 2.4*

Easy to use, well-designed, I ride five times a week and use it every time I ride.

It would be really nice to have a way to list your best times for each course…

### 5/5 — Year after year

*2019-12-29, version 2.4*

Have used Cyclist Log for several years now. It’s been a great tool, training tracker and motivator. Super easy and no frills tech.
Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2018-04-21, version 2.4*

I ride about 3000 miles a year and like to look at monthly, speed, etc. and this app does it all. It keeps track of the data and has nice looking charts and graphs. I input all the data on my iPhone and it also seamlessly goes to my iPad. All in all a very good app.
Also customer service is outstanding. I had a little problem and sent an email. Two hours later I had a response, on a Sunday of a holiday weekend could not believe it.

### 5/5 — Cyclist Log

*2017-07-07, version 2.4*

I've been using Cyclist Log for a few years now and I really like it's ease of use. I don't need all the bells and whistles that some apps have. Cyclist Log has exactly what I need.
Great support and communication. Mike has been great getting back to me on any questions I may have in a timely manner.
Try it out you'll like it.
Rick

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2017-01-03, version 2.3*

This is a nice app. Just what I was looking for. A log without all the GPS garbage. I know my routes. I don't need a map every time I ride.

### 3/5 — Mapping function not accurate!

*2016-11-21, version 2.3*

Never really got a chance to use the app. The first problem, received a warning from iOS about the app needing to updated regarding resource usage. Second problem, the mapping doesn't follow the roads, instead it cuts corners, not good! All in all it's not even worth the low price or $2.99.

### 5/5 — Super app

*2016-10-14, version 2.3*

Easy to use with proper balance of efficiency and useful data that can be customized. An email to the developer asking how to sync app between iPhone and iPad was answered the same day -- and it's easy to do. Five stars.

### 5/5 — great log with extras

*2016-01-15, version 2.3*

Just what i wanted a log with graphs and lots of extra data. This is what i wanted to easily track my annual progress
