### 4/5 — Urgent question

*2025-05-31, version 1.4.7*

Hi How can i recording my own sounds on the plataformas I Need figure out the way to récord any sample. I dont find any tutorial. Please update the app.

### 4/5 — Brilliant.

*2018-12-30, version 1.3.1*

For electric musicians.

### 4/5 — Hardly use it anymore, but respect this old beauty

*2018-10-28, version 1.3.1*

I think it’s my own incompetence that makes me not enjoi this app as much as I’ve wanted too!?! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALL YOUR APPS!?! THANK YOU AND PLEASE KEEP EM COMING

### 3/5 — It would be 5 but

*2018-09-01, version 1.3.1*

The problem with Cyclop is that some of the knobs and buttons are to small for me when I’m using iPad Air.

### 4/5 — Graphics needs update

*2018-08-08, version 1.3.1*

Nice one guys, AUV3 was only reason why I didn’t have any of your apps as I really dislike to flip between apps like with Audiobus which I didn’t use since AUv3 arrived with some handful synths and fx’s
But now I’m going all the way and eagerly waiting for all of your apps to turn into AUv3.
Only thing I you should change is low res graphic interface, I’m on iPad Pro and you can tell really :/ but anyway useful even without it as that’s only graphic!! Sound is tip top, really like it for what it is! Can’t fault there. Interface is like spaceship and really make fresh kind of difference to use it alongside other more contemporary looking synths. So all gravy here, get it if you want some nice digital bass/lead/noise of all kind of stuff! You won’t regret

### 4/5 — Great but...

*2016-02-17, version 1.0.5*

I generally love sugar bytes stuff. Don't get me wrong this is a top notch app, but unfortunately lacking a simple sequencer and the ability to limit a keyboard to a specific key. This makes it a little tricky for me to really get into.

### 4/5 — My review

*2016-02-13, version 1.0.5*

A little bit pricey for iOS synth app, but it’s peanuts in comparison to desktop edition.
Sounds great. In awe of this monster. Get it.

### 4/5 — Decent app

*2016-02-10, version 1.0.5*

Very good for his complexity, very versatile and easy to use if you need sub bass sound for your productions. Sugar Bytes offers high quality and good prices with all their products

### 4/5 — Great

*2016-02-04, version 1.0.5*

The app is really impressing. I love music and I always pay much attention to the quality of sound, thus I can say, that Cyclop creates perfect bass sounding. And the interface is cool as well, very stylish and interesting. This is a good app, even for music professionals.

### 4/5 — Quite good

*2016-02-03, version 1.0.5*

Anyone will find it powerful and unique-sounding, adding spice to existing tracks and inspiring new ones.

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

*2016-02-01, version 1.0.5*

Awesome app! I really love electronic music, and, especially, I like to create it. Cyclop has great convenient interface and cool design. There are good controlling, even the lowest notes and, what is more important, no phasing issues at all. Moreover, at $24.99 this is a steal compared to the desktop version.

### 5/5 — Good

*2016-01-31, version 1.0.5*

It is decidedly digital-sounding, but not in a bad way, and as the growing list of fans proves, it can be turned to good use in just about any electronic genre, past, present and (probably) future.

### 5/5 — Pure power

*2016-01-30, version 1.0.5*

Cyclop is a pretty awesome mono bass synth. This synth is designed to work particularly well with wobble bass I find it is capable of much, much more. I find the sounds dirty and gritty (which is what i was looking for). I am pretty sure you could get some cleaner tones out of this bad boy but why would you want to? It comes with a lot of presets that are categorized into the appropriate categories. I have a feeling I will be using this synth long after the wobble bass trend has passed simply because it has some killer bass tones that I think will stand the test of time.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Bad

*2024-09-12, version 1.4.6*

There is a swear word in it.

### 1/5 — Do not buy

*2024-04-04, version 1.4.3*

Please note this has had an update so now you CANNOT use this in attack to export, this is now a standalone unit / a toy.

### 1/5 — Not a key bass app

*2019-09-22, version 1.3.2*

These bass sounds were NOT what I was looking for. Even though I did my hw and checked out several videos before downloading, I really wish I had spent the money and would prefer a refund.

### 1/5 — Be wary of buying...

*2018-06-30, version 1.2.1*

Sugar Bytes seem to be cutting audiobus support on their apps.
This app may stop working as you had initially expected.

### 1/5 — Pass your way!

*2015-05-05, version 1.0.0*

I have various other plugs from Sugar Bytes, and App by Apps they release more and more Apps which can't run if you don't have the last generation of iPad. Cyclop lags, is like frozen on my iPad2 and i just feel like robbed... I have lot of other music and sound apps, this one is simply useless and I have thrown away 30$...

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2018-02-28, version 1.2.1*

I have so many other synths that do much better. This is pretty basic with sounds and quality that came with the first Reason/FL. Too bad, thought it looked good, but the interface and sound is not up to par. $25?! What a waste.

### 2/5 — Bugs

*2016-04-28, version 1.0.5*

Sounds great but it's very unstable. It keeps crashing when I try it will audiobus and ableton link.

### 2/5 — Needs a Major Update

*2015-11-23, version 1.0.4*

I love this synth but I am having issues with it. It has become very unreliable since iOS 9. Cubasis, Auria and Audiobus are all having problems with it. Do not buy until this is resolved. Note to developers, this is an excellent synth, 5 stars in my opinion, please fix and update it.

### 2/5 — Too expensive for lack of performance.

*2015-08-22, version 1.0.2*

A hefty cpu hog. Running on ipad air in cubasis it really takes a lot to run and even by itself jumping between patches is very slow. I am into more mobile friendly responsive on the road stuff but may try using it as a standalone syncing it to a pc daw at some point. For now it is too expensive and just not great for my needs. Wish i skipped it.

### 3/5 — Bugs issue as of Dec 2021

*2021-12-25, version 1.3.7*

Sticky keys when playing with both virtual keyboard and midi controller.. please fix this!!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I had to buy this!

*2024-02-11*

It’s big, bad and beautiful! These guys can give master classes in app design. Really, they’re approaching evil genius territory. This is one of the most beautiful apps I’ve ever seen! I only understand about 8 percent of it but I don’t care… I just love the aesthetics!!

### 5/5 — Very Impressive

*2021-05-09, version 1.3.7*

I would recommend this monstrosity to any iOS music producer because, well, it’s just that good. Extremely fun to use, great sound possibilities, just get it, seriously.

### 5/5 — Bleikr Sound Uses This App

*2021-03-12, version 1.3.7*

90s shoegaze artist Bleikr Sound uses the Windows version. Instrument was played extensively on David Bowie’s last album.

### 5/5 — Good looking synth

*2020-10-25, version 1.3.7*

Looks so futuristic on the iPad. Haven’t got a clue how to really program this beast but fortunately it has some great sounds in the presets which I just tweak to suit. Be good to have a more downloadable presets for simpletons like me.

### 5/5 — Bigger search window

*2020-04-28, version 1.3.4*

Really no complaints, some ui changes to make more visible on iPad Pro

### 5/5 — I like it but I do not know how to use it.

*2020-03-12, version 1.3.4*

Sounds are amazing. Stability. Beautiful UI. No! More than a beautiful UI. Cyclop is the library of weird sounds. Lots of presets which is great because I do not know how to create a preset from scratch. It is very complicated process. But I have been learning and looking the videos and one day I might discover all of its secrets.
I would recommend this synth for everybody.

### 5/5 — Total Audio Manglulator

*2018-07-28, version 1.3.1*

The app allows you to get all sorts of off the beaten path sounds with many modulation options. There are lots of presets and you can easily search for them by selecting multiple categories. Great for people who are into electronic music.

### 5/5 — Great to see AUV3!

*2018-07-25, version 1.3.0*

I detested the archaic IAA and the problems it brought. Found audiobus an inefficient way of working. AUv3 is the way to go.

### 5/5 — Wow! Amazing!!

*2018-02-07, version 1.2.1*

Exactly what I was looking for. Only regret is that I didn't get it sooner.

### 5/5 — Awesome AMAZING WOW va va va voom!

*2016-04-16, version 1.0.5*

This is now in so many of my songs it has come of age and is used in my studio every day. This gets better with every use. Peace Christo
