## What is Cymbra Music?

Cymbra Music turns your device into an interactive piano tutor. Load real sheet music and play along — on a connected MIDI keyboard or by following on screen — while Cymbra listens and guides you note by note.

WATCH THE MUSIC YOUR WAY
• Standard staff notation for reading practice
• Synthesia-style falling notes (waterfall) for quick learning
• Switch views anytime

LEARN AT YOUR OWN PACE
• Wait Mode pauses until you play the right note — no pressure, no falling behind
• Practice hands separately or together, with left/right hand colour coding
• Built-in metronome to lock in your timing

SEE YOUR PROGRESS
• Real-time scoring rates your accuracy and timing
• Gamified feedback and a session summary after every run

PLAY THE DRUMS TOO
• Real drum parts, read on the staff or on an animated kit
• Tap the kit on screen, or play your electronic drum kit
• Map your pads once — Cymbra calibrates to the piece you load
• Isolate one kit piece to drill a groove, scored like any other run

A GROWING LIBRARY
• Bundled public-domain scores, sorted from beginner to advanced
• Choose from high-quality piano sounds, or import your own SoundFont

Connect any USB MIDI keyboard or electronic drum kit, or play along on screen. Available in English, French, Italian and Spanish.

Start playing today — the best way to learn music is to play it.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.36.0 — 2026-10-05

New: drums! Connect an electronic drum kit over MIDI and practise drum scores, scored hit by hit. Four original grooves are included, from beginner to advanced. A short calibration adapts the game to the pads on your kit, and you can choose to practise only some pieces of the kit.

### 1.34.1 — 2026-09-27

Fix: if loading your account failed temporarily, your profile could stay unavailable and some account features stayed off until you signed out. The app now retries automatically, and the profile screen offers a retry.

### 1.33.2 — 2026-09-14

• Use Cymbra without an account: open the app and play right away. Sign in whenever you like to keep your progress or subscribe to Premium.
• The screen now stays awake while you play or practise.

### 1.32.0 — 2026-09-13

No release notes.
