## What is Cymru Football?

The Cymru Football app will keep you up to date with fixtures, results, team lineups, match events, statistics, and other interesting information, for every official Welsh football competition. 
You can use the Cymru Football app to track your favourite team(s), player(s) or match(es), check their individual profiles, and receive a notification whenever a match event(s) related to your favourite(s), such as a goal, booking, or the final whistle, is recorded onto the FAW COMET system.
Match information that can be accessed via the Cymru Football app includes:
•	Team starting lineups, substitutes, coaches, and team officials.
•	Chronological timeline of match events including goals, yellow and red cards, substitutions, start and end times of each half, extra time, and penalties.
•	Additional match information such as the match officials, the stadium / playing venue, attendance, and team kits.
•	Ability to follow LIVE matches in real-time mode.
Competition information that can be accessed via the Cymru Football app includes:
•	Results of matches that have already been played including the team lineups, match events timeline, match officials, the stadia/playing venues, attendance and team kits.
•	Upcoming fixtures. 
•	League tables.
•	Form tables.
•	Competition statistics including top goal scorers, yellow cards, and red cards.
Player information that can be accessed via the Cymru Football app includes:
•	Previous appearances with full match data including the team lineups, match events timeline, match officials, the stadia/playing venues, attendance and team kits.
•	Easy to understand colour coding of the match outcome for the player’s team (Green = Win, Yellow = Draw, Red = Loss).
•	Personalised player statistics grouped by competition including appearances, minutes played, goals scored, yellow cards and red cards.
•	Animated confetti view of player’s goals and other match events send direct to the device which can then be shared with friends.

When it comes to wanting to look into Welsh football, leagues, players, future matches, past results. It’s great. Dates back seasons. But when you want to look at different things and you’re going back and forth and clicking on players or teams and then back off, you’re hit with an unskippable ad every like 3 clicks. So irritating

It’s not very often an app gets worse but sadly that’s the case with the Cymru Football app. 

Truth is, the app used to be fantastic, and it still really enhances the grassroots football experience for players, coaches and everyone else involved with football covered by the Cymru football app. 

However, first came the ads, and whilst I’m not against monetising the app, they were too intrusive so I was pleased to see the option to go ad free - but £25 per year, are you having a laugh!!! That’s just greed. 

I would never pay that for myself never mind the £100 it would cost to add my wife and 2 children to go ad free as well. 

Honestly, I’m so mad just thinking about it - £5 for the year would have been excessive but I would probably accept that. That’s a fair price that other similar services offer - not £25!!! 

Go back to the drawing board, stop being greedy and support the game by offering ad free at a price that’s realistic. I’d love to know how you justify it.

My earlier comments below still apply, but I'm not happy about the latest (Nov 25) update which requires a login to be created. Lots of personal data required including date of birth, because the app now, absurdly, has a minimum age limit. No need for all this...

Just about the only way to get results from Welsh football below the level of the top tier. This app has just about every league right down to U-12 level. And the scores are updated promptly so you're always up to date. 
One thing I'd like to have added is a link to the league tables, as you can only access them from the scores in each league. An explanation of the promotion and relegation system for each league would also be handy. But just being able to see the results is pretty good as no-one else is publishing them. One other gripe, there are now video adverts that start without warning, and always with sound on, which is not always appropriate if you're somewhere quiet.

This used to be a simple app to keep up to date with latest scores and your kids records.

Since the ads started (with no way to switch off - offer the option to pay something for gods sake), it has become clunky and riddled with errors.

My kid has simply deleted and now can’t be bothered due to the cumbersome nature of the app.
