D1Explorer is a native Cloudflare D1 client for iPhone and iPad that backs up before it writes. Browse, query and edit your databases, with cost projection and Time Travel restore.

Unlock D1Explorer Pro with a one-time in-app purchase for every write feature: row inserts, updates and deletes, inline cell editing, table and column changes, and DML/DDL in the query editor. KEY FEATURES

• Editable Data Grid — Tap a cell to edit it, add rows, then discard or commit. Pending edits are shown as the SQL they will run before anything runs, and a remote database asks once more before it is written to.

• Recovery Center (Pro) — Back up before you write. "Export Snapshot" runs Cloudflare's official export, a .sql dump preserving BLOBs byte-for-byte. Time Travel rolls a D1 database back to any point in its retention window, backing up first.

• Cost & Budget — Know what a database costs before the invoice arrives. Month-to-date spend on the three axes D1 bills, rows read, rows written and stored bytes, with the billable part separated. Free, including the sidebar figure on each database. Pro adds a month-end projection, a monthly budget, and an Advisor that ranks the query shapes reading the most rows, suggests a fix where the numbers support one, and copies out as Markdown.

• Draft SQL & Query Editor — Describe what you want, as in "active pro users, newest first", and Apple Intelligence turns it into a SELECT you can read and edit before you run it. Or write SQL by hand. Free.

• Sign in with Cloudflare — Connect without making an API token. Approve D1Explorer once on Cloudflare's own screen, decide there whether it gets write access and usage analytics, and withdraw it whenever you like. Free.

• Connection Doctor — Ask a connection what it can actually do. It checks the token, this database, and the permissions behind editing, exporting, restoring and cost analytics, then names the one you are missing instead of an HTTP status. Free.

• iCloud Sync — Connections follow you between your devices. Only what identifies a database travels; credentials sync separately through end-to-end encrypted iCloud Keychain.

• Query Notebook (Pro) — Never lose the query that fixed production. Save named snippets and keep a per-connection history of everything you've run, failures included, each labelled READ or WRITE.

• Performance Insights — Execution time and rows read per statement, plus which D1 datacenter answered and whether a replica served it.

SECURITY FIRST

Your Cloudflare credentials live only in the iOS Keychain, pasted token or sign-in grant alike: encrypted by the OS, never in plain text, never sent to third parties. D1Explorer talks straight to Cloudflare, with no intermediary servers.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

D1Explorer collects no analytics, no telemetry, and no user data of its own. Cost & Budget and the Advisor read your usage from Cloudflare with your own credentials and send it nowhere else; the Advisor's suggestions are local arithmetic, not a language model. Draft SQL is the one feature that uses a language model, and it is Apple's on-device one: it receives your question and this database's table and column names, never a value from any row, and nothing is uploaded. The Query Notebook records SQL as you typed it, so it can contain literals from your data: clear its history or turn recording off in Settings.

Local SQLite files and Wrangler project import are Mac features and are not part of the iPhone and iPad app.
