## What is D20 Adventurers Folio?

Your character sheet should be worth framing.

D20 Adventurers Folio turns the paperwork of tabletop roleplaying into an
illuminated manuscript — hand-painted borders, carved panels, gold leaf, and a
dragon standing guard over your hero's portrait. Then it quietly does all the
math for you.

A LIVING SHEET
Keep it open at the table. Tap to spend hit points, mark experience, level up.
Saving throws, attack numbers and ability adjustments recalculate as you play.
No lookup tables. No eraser crumbs.

TWO RULE SETS FREE, TWO MORE IF YOU WANT THEM
1st Edition (1977–1988) and the 2024 revision are both included. Each gets its
own page architecture and its own correctly computed numbers — five saving
throws or six, THAC0 or attack bonus, weapon proficiencies or skills. Your
sheet speaks your table's dialect. 2nd Edition (1989–1999) and the 2014 ruleset
are each a separate purchase, for tables still playing them.

THE SPELLS AND THE MAGIC ITEMS, BUILT IN
1,461 spells across the four rule sets and 498 magic items for the two
fifth-edition ones — 689 spells and 258 items in the rule sets that are free.
Type a few letters on the Grimoire and the
entry completes itself — range, duration, damage — and the dice on the page roll
it. For the fifth-edition rule sets the full text is included. 1st and 2nd
Edition carry each spell's name and printed numbers but not its description,
because those are not licensed to anyone. Anything missing you can import, and
anything at all you can simply type.

DICE WORTH ROLLING
Tap any save, skill or ability and the page blurs away: dice tumble from a
leather cup onto felt and settle on a result decided by a fair roll, never by
physics luck. Two sets come with the app — aged ivory and deep red resin — and
the Premium Dice Pack adds ten more, from molten gold to charcoal veined with
glowing ember.

QUICK HERO
No idea what to play? Lock in whatever you're sure about — maybe just "druid" —
and the app rolls the rest, legally: ability scores by your table's preferred
method, a permitted race, hit points, starting gold. A playable hero in one tap.

WORTH PRINTING
Export a print-perfect PDF: the painted sheet, the Adventurer's Ledger, and two
more pages of Grimoire if your hero casts. Every class carries its own painted
ledger: the thief's guild book, the paladin's temple codex, the magic-user's
illuminated grimoire, the druid's grove tome.

YOURS, FOREVER
No subscription. No account. No server to crash mid-roll. Every hero lives on
your device, and works in a basement with no signal.

Free: one hero, two complete rule sets, the sheet that keeps its own maths, two dice sets,
and printing. Print a free hero and its name, class, race and ability scores are
set in ink.
The Folio — one payment, no renewals: unlimited heroes, the painted class pages
and ledgers, blank sheets for the whole party, and nothing set in ink.
5th Edition (2014) — one payment: adds the 2014 ruleset, its sheet, its spell
tables and its magic items.
2nd Edition (1989–1999) — one payment: adds the 1989-99 ruleset, its sheet, its
tables and its 453 spells.
Premium Dice Pack — one payment: ten more collector dice sets.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-29

Corrects attack rolls. First and second edition characters were adding their to-hit bonus twice, so the sheet could report a miss as a hit. Fifth edition weapons that print their own attack bonus no longer add ability and proficiency on top of it. Every other roll, table and page is unchanged.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-28

No release notes.
