If you click on the attached document, it sometimes exits out of the document itself, and if you click on the document again, it opens a blank page. Perhaps it’s just gotten too big. The filtering and customising is not as slick as the apps early days. Also have to endlessly do updates and contact support. It’s a very basic application with what appears to be the minimum effort to implement functionality. A simple example is: as a new parent I have years and years of unread messages in my message queue. I am unable to use the “unread” filter to see what I may have missed. Surely new members could easily have existing messages marked as read. Or provide an option to mark all as read? The app is also full of ads in between messages making it hard to navigate and differentiate between and advert and a message. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Submission of forms *2026-02-06, version 101.1.7* Keeps hanging when firms from school needs to be submitted and not giving me completed status after. This is a hassle now because don’t know if school got the relevant forms or information. ### 1/5 — Intrusive adds *2025-08-04, version 100.9.9* I don’t like the intrusive advertisements and there is no option to remove it, the school using it should pay to have an add free version. Or at-least offer an option to remove this for a once off fee. I forgot why I uninstalled it, after installing it again after 2 years still the same annoying intrusive adds in between the school communications. ### 1/5 — Not built for purpose - a lot of development needed to make this effective *2022-11-19, version 100.0.11* Very basic app. Should be able to filter and it stays filtered but the filter only works for one search. Lots of irrelevant content. Too many adverts. No ability to archive old messages or delete irrelevant ones. We get so so many communications in our lives, this is supposed to make it easier for schools to communicate but in reality if there is way too much irrelevant information, the relevant gets lost and the communication doesn’t get received in any case.
