Constantly hit by mistake! ### 4/5 — Please fix bug *2021-02-03* I like the game but there is an annoying bug that is triggered when you solve the puzzle and you accidentally move letters, causing an incorrect word, just before the game credits you for solving. In then goes into showing the Best Possible Solution, which sometimes it’s funny because, the value is sometimes less than the solution you came up with. In any case, please fix the bug so that it either recognizes a solution quicker, or the Best Possible Solution routine does not engage. ### 4/5 — Some updates are nice. So unless you’re within 4 games of your record, you have no idea if you’re close or not. Can you fix this, please??? ALSO, this new thing where you’re shown the “best possible solution” is really annoying. You took away the celebratory fireworks and replaced it with something that belittles your effort. It has a bug that occasionally (maybe 5% of the time) ends a game prematurely and ruins it for you. Also, its “best possible solution” is wrong. I’ve done the math. Better solutions are totally possible. It has changed and it’s terrible. There are words accepted that aren’t words in real life, then there are actual words that apparently aren’t words in Dabble World. Either there words are misspelled or the dictionary they come from is not widely published. It wouldn’t accept Wisk but accepted Cokey? Really strange. The feature that solved the puzzle in either additional ways or if you failed to form all of the words is gone. Well worth the $3. ### 5/5 — Brilliant Word Play Fun! *2021-11-27* I’m a word game lover and it’s been a long time since I fell for new word game so quickly. And I fell hard! You are given a group of 20 letters and must use them to create a six-letter word and a five-letter word and a four-letter word and a three-letter word and a two-letter word. You can use a timer and have them tell you if you found the best solution, etc, but right from the start I just turned off all the bells and whistles and challenged myself to find a solution. Once you find a solution, you are rewarded with a score based on the time it took you to solve the puzzle, but I’m not concerned with that. As soon as I finish one puzzle I start another. I find it exhilarating fun! Bravo to the inventor! I suspect this game works better as a digital app than as a board game, because I’m not sure the puzzle would always have a solution if you had to choose your letters at random. I’ve never played the board game, though, so maybe there are slightly different rules. I had been tempted to buy the board game for my grandchildren for Christmas but the reviews I read dissuaded me from doing that, mostly because of the quality of the tiles and racks. But the game intrigued me enough to look up the company and that’s how I found the digital game. I would recommend to the inventors of this game that they consider upgrading to racks and tiles like those used in the large-tile version of the game Rummikub. They are both sturdy and easy to handle. If you did that and added a draw string bag, as other reviewers have suggested, I think the board game could become a huge hit!
