## What is DacLane?

DacLane-Driver is a technology platform that facilitates digital communication between independent drivers and passengers. The platform does not own or operate vehicles, does not employ drivers, does not set fares, and does not control, manage, or dispatch trip operations. As a result, DacLane-Driver does not operate transportation services and is not considered a Transportation Network Company (TNC) under applicable state laws.
 
Drivers using the DacLane-Driver platform act solely as independent contractors. They are fully responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required local licenses, vehicle permits, and applicable insurance coverage, whether personal or commercial, including any required TNC or rideshare endorsements.
 
DacLane-Driver does not provide insurance coverage of any kind and assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents, damages, losses, or passenger injuries arising from trips arranged through the platform. All transportation-related responsibilities rest entirely with the driver.
 
The platform’s sole purpose is to provide digital access that enables communication and payment facilitation between users. DacLane-Driver functions strictly as a digital service connecting drivers and riders and does not act as a transportation provider.
 
This app is intended to serve as a technology tool for independent drivers, offering a simple and reliable interface while allowing drivers full control over their driving activities.
