Very Disappointed

Extremely disappointed with the service I received. My bank closed my account after the name of the person I was sending money to matched someone on a watch list. I understand that situations like this can require additional checks, but what has been most frustrating is the lack of communication and support from this company.

I have tried reaching out multiple times and have not received a proper response or meaningful assistance. The customer service has been extremely poor, and I have never experienced service this bad from a company handling something as important as financial transactions.

Very disappointed with how this situation has been handled. I expected much better communication and professionalism.

I would never recommend anyone to Dahabshiil, I have sent money to different individuals some takes days before there’s a response. They claim it’s fast payment but I am telling you it’s not. There phone don’t even work, to get response on the message app takes forever to get a reply and it says on the app typically response in few minutes. I had multiple bad experience. When it matters the most they not there.

I am filing a complaint regarding my experience with technical support, which lasted for hours without actually resolving the issue of losing access to my account.
I contacted support multiple times and provided full security verification details during each attempt; however, I was transferred between several agents who had no visibility of previous conversations, forcing me to resubmit my personal information repeatedly.
Responses were significantly delayed sometimes with intervals of over 30 minutes between messages despite the urgent nature of the situation.
On one occasion, the chat session was automatically closed without a resolution, even though I was still actively engaged in the conversation.

I had one of the worst experiences with Dahabshiil Money Transfer. I sent money on Saturday expecting it to reach my client within 5–10 minutes. When the transfer was delayed, I immediately contacted customer support and requested that it be canceled. They confirmed that the cancellation was successful and told me my money would be refunded within 3–5 days.

Then, about 24 hours later, I received an email saying the recipient had received the money anyway—even though I was explicitly told the transfer had been canceled.

This is completely unacceptable. If a company confirms a cancellation, it should not process the transfer afterward. I lost trust in their service because of the poor communication and failure to honor their own confirmation. I would not recommend Dahabshiil to anyone looking for a reliable money transfer service.

Very disappointing experience with Dahabshiil. I expected a reliable money transfer service, but my recent case has caused a lot of stress and inconvenience.

I provided the transaction details and information available to me, but instead of resolving the issue quickly through their own records, I was asked to provide a bank statement that requires me to visit a branch. This has delayed the process, even though the matter is urgent.

I feel that more responsibility should be taken by the service provider to investigate and resolve transaction issues efficiently. The lack of a quick solution and proper support has seriously affected my trust in Dahabshiil.

I hope Dahabshiil improves its customer service, communication, and internal verification process so customers do not experience similar problems in the future.
