I really suggest people to use other apps that’s got better response. ### 1/5 — Complaint Regarding Unreturned Funds – Dahabshiil Transfer *2026-03-21* I am really disappointed with the service I received from Dahabshiil. I made a money transfer that was later returned, yet the funds have still not been reflected in my bank account. This lack of transparency and delay is completely unacceptable. I have tried to follow up, but the process has been unclear and unprofessional. As a customer, I expected better communication and faster resolution. Due to this experience, I will not be using this service again. I strongly urge others to be cautious and reconsider using Dahabshiil until they improve their professionalism and customer service. Customers deserve reliability, accountability, and respect — and unfortunately, this experience did not meet those standards. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-03-15* After I sent the money, they contacted me asking to send them a copy of my bank statement showing the transaction I sent the money to them yesterday. I told them that transaction will show up my next month bank statement. They say “we wait then we will release the money next month!” I told them to send my current month statement and my paycheck copy. They said no. They ask for the impossible so I asked them to cancel. What a waste of time! And yeah, their verification process is crazy. My bank closed my account after the name of the person I was sending money to matched someone on a watch list. I understand that situations like this can require additional checks, but what has been most frustrating is the lack of communication and support from this company. I have tried reaching out multiple times and have not received a proper response or meaningful assistance. The customer service has been extremely poor, and I have never experienced service this bad from a company handling something as important as financial transactions. Very disappointed with how this situation has been handled. They claim it’s fast payment but I am telling you it’s not. There phone don’t even work, to get response on the message app takes forever to get a reply and it says on the app typically response in few minutes. I had multiple bad experience. I contacted support multiple times and provided full security verification details during each attempt; however, I was transferred between several agents who had no visibility of previous conversations, forcing me to resubmit my personal information repeatedly. Responses were significantly delayed sometimes with intervals of over 30 minutes between messages despite the urgent nature of the situation. I sent money on Saturday expecting it to reach my client within 5–10 minutes. When the transfer was delayed, I immediately contacted customer support and requested that it be canceled. They confirmed that the cancellation was successful and told me my money would be refunded within 3–5 days. Then, about 24 hours later, I received an email saying the recipient had received the money anyway—even though I was explicitly told the transfer had been canceled. This is completely unacceptable. If a company confirms a cancellation, it should not process the transfer afterward. I lost trust in their service because of the poor communication and failure to honor their own confirmation. I would not recommend Dahabshiil to anyone looking for a reliable money transfer service. ### 1/5 — Delay and inconvenience customer service *2026-07-08, version 1.70.0* Very disappointing experience with Dahabshiil. I expected a reliable money transfer service, but my recent case has caused a lot of stress and inconvenience.
