I had a lot of personal affirmations. Now I’m supposed to pay 12.99 a year or I can’t access my personal file. I wouldn’t mind paying, but this is way too much for an app like this. If you need help accessing your saved affirmations, please reach out to us, we're happy to help! ### 1/5 — Used for years *2024-12-02* Used this for two years- it updated- now requires an expensive annual fee to access my personal affirmation file. I can’t afford this, so I’m just going to delete the app. ### 1/5 — Glitchy, no option to try it for free *2023-09-24* When you open the app for the first time to set it up, the words are cut off. When I swipe to the next screen, and the next, and the next, same thing. Then it gets to a screen where they show you their premium plans. If there is an option to skip this or close it, then it must be off-screen too. Essentially there is no way for me to use the app without paying, not even to test it out. Why would I pay when I haven't even tried it yet? And clearly I can already see that it is not well designed if elements of the app are cut off by the screen. So not a good sign. I tried closing the app and re-opening it - same thing happened. So I deleted it. **Developer response:** Hello. What kind of device do you have? And what does "music so bad in background" mean? ### 2/5 — Can't customize Free version *2024-12-10* I'm not sure if you can actually write in your own affirmationsin the paid version, but in the free version the "my affirmations" section is off-limits. I will be having sad/negative thoughts and glance down at my phone and see something that instantly builds my confidence and makes me inspired to continue to fo the best for myself. Leaving an abusive marriage after 5 years and my self esteem really needs work. Many of my friends have sworn on affirmations and I’ve just never had the will to do them myself so I thought to look for an app that will give them to me daily like a horoscope or something and this is very much a god send for me right now.
