Structured bodyweight training that adapts to your schedule. Nine exercises, three levels each, no account required.
Build a real bodyweight training habit and actually get stronger.
Daily Ascent gives you a structured programme across nine exercise groups, each with three progressive levels. New to training? Start with the "Prepare" tier for Pull-Ups, Push-Ups, and Dips, beginner-friendly variations that build you up to Level 1.
Follow your prescribed sets and reps, pass a max-rep test, and unlock the next level. No guesswork.

Core Features:
- Master Your Bodyweight: Push-Ups, Squats, Pull-Ups, Dead Bugs, Hip Hinges, Spinal Extensions, Planks, Rows, and Dips. From beginner to advanced, every training day is mapped out.
- Smart Scheduling: Rest days adjust automatically based on when you actually trained, not when you planned to.
Miss a session? Your schedule shifts. No lost progress.
- Test Days That Mean Something: Each level ends with a max-rep test. Pass it and move up. Clear, earned progression. No self-assessment needed.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2 — 2026-04-20

Prepare Level: Pull-Ups, Push-Ups, and Dips now have a beginner-friendly "Prepare" tier with easier variations (Negative Pull-Up, Incline Push-Up,
Assisted Bench Dip). A great starting point if Level 1 feels too challenging.
Level Preview: Long-press any level segment to see the full breakdown: variation name, training days, test target, and day-by-day plan.
Extended Programs: Longer Level 3 programs for Pull-Ups, Push-Ups, Squats, and Dead Bugs with consolidation phases for deeper strength gains.
Pull-Ups Level 1 also extended with extra consolidation days.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-04-13

- 38 new achievements across five categories: earn badges for milestones, streaks, consistency, and more as you train
- Community stats show where you rank against other users, with per-exercise percentile cards and streak rankings in the Achievements tab
- Metronome guidance now available in the exercise info sheet so you can revisit beat patterns any time
- Fixed rep counter double-counting when the motion signal stayed above threshold between reps (e.g. squats)
- My phone needs charging..

### 1.0.3 — 2026-04-10

Metronome workouts now include movement cues during each set and a quick intro the first time you try Dead Bugs, Hip Hinge, or Spinal Extension — so the tempo makes sense from the start.

Fixed a small issue on the Counting Method settings screen where metronome and timed exercises appeared blank. They now clearly show their fixed tracking method.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-04-09

Metronome counting mode for more exercises
Dead Bugs, Hip Hinge, and Spinal Extension now support metronome mode — the app counts your reps automatically while pacing you with audio and haptic beats. Switch counting method in Settings.

Mute workout sounds
A new toggle in Settings → Workout lets you silence countdown ticks, the go beep, and metronome clicks without turning off haptic feedback.

Bug fixes
 - Fixed a stray sound that could play randomly when moving quickly through a workout
 - Fixed an achievement notification that could reappear after being dismissed

### 1.0.1 — 2026-04-08

Metronome mode — Dead Bugs, Hip Hinge, and Spinal Extension now offer a guided counting rhythm. A steady audio beat keeps your tempo consistent so you can focus on form.

Rest timer sounds — The rest countdown now plays 3-2-1 ticks and a go beep on iPhone, so you don't have to watch the screen.

Session history — Tap any exercise in your history to see the full set breakdown. You can also delete individual sessions.

Streak fix — Streaks now break correctly when you miss a scheduled session, even if you don't open the app that day.

Stability fix — Resolved a crash on launch that could affect users who had been on early builds of the app.
