You can place a heart but no bookmarks. I understand that the ads generate money but when they last for longer than a few seconds and you can’t close them out it is extremely frustrating. Also, there have been several “misplaced” words lately, more than I’ve ever noticed over all the years. Maybe it happens during translation? They keep popping up and won’t stop, and now a lot of them have sound. So while I am trying to have my quiet time with the Lord, I keep having ads pop us and interrupting my quiet time with God. It prompts me to read Am and Pm devotions but nothing's there to read of than the advertisement that pops up. It's really a good devotional but you should take time to hear, and adhere to your Christian reading audience and those who use this app to draw closer to God. Be a doer and hearer!!!! I hope you will fix these glitch! Having God’s word and a short/to the point devotional is perfect for my on the go lifestyle especially in the mornings. Yes, the ads can be annoying at times (and I understand why they have them) but that’s why I chose to subscribe so my money goes straight to supporting this app! It allows me to easily have a devotional in God’s word and reminds me every morning. I understand the need for ads in apps and yes they can make devotions cumbersome, but after switching to their subscription for a small fee , I was no longer bothered with all the ads. Plus I am now able to access previous devotions to catch up! Thank you for this app. ### 5/5 — Amazing App Improvement 9/12/24 *2024-09-12, version 5.0.5* A couple years ago I wrote a review complaining about the terrible ads and user interface, but they have just changed and updated the app so those problems no longer exist. The app functions wonderfully now and is a joy to use. The ads are less in your face, and now I was finally able to purchase the add-free version which was only $2. The whole user interface now is so easy to use and the layout is much more pleasing to navigate. I’m so thankful because this has always been my favorite devotional app, despite the previous challenges, because the content is just so good. The devotions are a perfect start and end to my day, and they’re not cheesy or corny as many other apps are, there’s real substance to them and it has genuinely helped me so much during hard times and becoming closer to God. Thank you to those involved in getting this app updated!!! I like all the new benefits of “DevotionsUnlimited” (no ads, access to hundreds of devos, etc ). They had a few bugs to iron out, but I’m glad to see them actively updating again.
