You don’t have to jump around trying to find what to read. I’m an Olive Tree user and I love that this app can tell me what the days readings are and then open them in Olive Tree in my preferred version (ESV). I’m so impressed. I just think this is the most simple, pure, easy to use, no mess bible app I’ve ever had the delight of stumbling across. This morning I was on the iPad thinking I GET SO DISTRACTED I need another app for reading this thing and this just doesn’t allow for distraction, there’s hardly a thing on this app except the three readings, some fun colour choices and a test to your resolve whether you’ll actually FREAKIN read the bible in front of you. Man this is SUCH a great app for bible reading. Love how the format itself just encourages you to get on with the main event and read. Man I love it. (Have I said that) Thanks Devin. It does what it says it will do. The only thing maybe an update or a new app version will include a customisable plan. Like for example I want to read the psalms and an app like this telling me to read the psalms each day would just be great. However, I do wish I could choose how to set up my daily readings. I am used to one Old Testament and one New Testament chapter a day, plus one chapter of Psalms and Proverbs each. The daily readings are from a reading plan I don’t really prefer, so as much as I love this app I probably will use BiOY. I still would recommend though for people with no preference!
