For a paid subscription, this app is in desperate need of an update, the last of which was two years ago. The app continues to crash sporadically. More recently, the daily notifications have simply stopped working. I’ve reinstalled the app and it remains glitchy.

Wether you’re a diplomat, an International Relations student or a keen foreign affairs person, this app ticks all the possible boxes.

I subscribed as the price is very good and the context is top-notch with superb app functioning and great reading.
It really feels like a PDB; like you’re reading a foreign office précis!

We're currently hard at work completely rebuilding the Daily Brief adding a tonne of new content and features that will be releasing later this year. For now though, just a small bug fix.

- There is definitely not a super secret editors mode in this version. Nope nothing here, shhh!

Bug Fixes
- Fixes for a couple of visual issues introduced by iOS 11
- More fixes for image loading (what is this, the 5th update in a row now?), scrolling should be improved as well as general load times
- Fixed a bug for our SE users where an extra pixel line would appear above the featured article

- The last update contained a small bug where the app would occasionally forget the time that you had requested your daily notification. This has now been patched.
-Fixed a very rare bug where notifications wouldn't appear if you were part of the beta program.
