Write down what today is for. Check in once at midday. Close the day honestly at night. Daily Captain is a goal planner built on three moments a day, so your goals turn into days you actually lived. MORNING List your goals for today, in your own words. Tomorrow starts clean: nothing carries over unless you move it. MIDDAY One check in. Tick what is done and ask yourself one question: is what I am doing right now moving me toward what is left? NIGHT ROUTINE Count honestly, name the day in one word, note anything that got in the way, and set tomorrow's first goal. BEYOND TODAY • Week: seven days at a glance, so you see the pattern, not just the day. • Year: your Dream Year and a few yearly goals, chosen with excitement. Dream first, the "how" comes later. • Cookie Jar: the days worth remembering, so a hard week has something to argue with. • Accountability partner: send your week to a buddy. They see your week, and only your week. • Widget: a new motivation quote on your home screen and lock screen every morning. • Your page: a public profile if you want one. Switch it off at any time. Hide My Email is supported. - A faster start: when Apple or Google shares your name, we use it and don't ask for it again. You only pick your User Tag, the address of your profile page. If no name is shared, you don't need one: we suggest a User Tag, and you can add a name later in Profile. - If camera access is off, Take Photo now shows a short message with a button to open Settings, instead of an empty camera screen. - You can delete your account, including a linked Apple or Google sign-in, from Settings > Delete my account. With Apple, this also removes Daily Captain from your Apple ID. - Small fixes throughout. ### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-17 Two things your phone can now do for you. Reminders. Daily Captain can now send you a notification at the three moments of your day: in the morning to set today's goals, at midday to check in, and in the evening to count the ticks. You choose the times in Settings > Reminders, and you can turn them off whenever you like. The notification never contains your goals. Those stay in the app. The quote widget. Today's quote can now sit on your home screen, in two sizes, and on your lock screen. It changes each day, and a quote from someone you follow shows their name. Tapping it opens your day. The widget is part of your Daily Captain subscription. You will find the steps in Settings > Information > Quote widget. Questions or something not working? Write to us from Settings.
