### 3/5 — Good App, but some glitches

*2020-07-27, version 2.0*

So I love how easy to use this app is and being able to track carbs, glucose, exercise and weight all in one app. I don’t use the BP, meds or reminders as I feel little need for those. BUT, the app has done some weird stuff like turning ads on after I’ve purchased the required level to not have ads and suddenly dropping the weight report from the reports summary tab. Still it’s too handy for me to give it up.

Previously gave this app a 4 for the reasons above. However, the support team has been less than helpful. Took 2 emails to get response on disappearance of weight report in summary reports and response that this would fixed in next version. I now have send 3rd email with screen shot of my in app purchases to get ads turned off (I hope).

### 3/5 — Pretty good so far

*2019-06-10, version 1.4.1*

I just started using this app, and so far, it looks like it will do what I want. My only problem is that I need to be able to enter my food in ounces and pounds, teaspoons and tablespoons -not grams.

### 4/5 — Good App

*2018-02-06, version 1.4.1*

I like this App, however, it does not allow for me to enter some of my excersises.

### 4/5 — Fantastic App!

*2016-07-11, version 1.2*

This is a great app for tracking weight, blood pressure, glucose, carbs, lab work, medication, and water… basically every aspect of diabetes care. It's easy to use, the reports and graphs are informative and straightforward, and there's a good bit of customization available to make using the app faster and more tailored to your circumstances.

There are definitely areas in which it could improve. The built-in nutrition database isn't the most complete; it can also be a bit tricky to search and navigate, and you occasionally have to watch out for errors in the data (one example: if an item in the database has no entry for fiber rather than 0 g, the net carbs calculation messes up). That said, it's perfectly serviceable, and the custom foods, favorites, and My Recipe features mean that within a few days, you won't be so worried.

Carb and nutrition tracking is very nice, with the ability to see averages and still quickly drill down to individual meals. It would be nice to see timestamps for entries, but otherwise it's very well done.

Medication tracking is good, but a bit cumbersome. It does keep track of the medications you take and the unit of measurement, but not a default dosage, so adding an entry currently means selecting each medication individually and setting a dosage, every time. I'd like to see the ability to define batches with doses (like "morning pills") to add items you always take together quickly. You can add and schedule reminders right in the app, which is handy.

Glucose readings work great. Swiping the graph right a few times shows statistics by period, so you can see an average for your fasting numbers, your post-lunch numbers, etc.

The data export is very straightforward but includes a number of formats and allows you to select a range of data to include, as well as which modules to include data from. The PDF looks great and includes some helpful summary averages. The CSV imports easily into Excel or Numbers.

Modules are sold individually or all at once as in-app purchases; in my opinion, the all-in-one is the way yo go, but I'd like the ability to turn individual modules off entirely. I personally don't have any blood pressure problems, for example, so it would be nice to just hide blood pressure throughout the app.

All in all, I'm very pleased with this app. I've tried several others and this is far and away the most complete, easiest to use, and best looking.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2016-05-17, version 1.2*

A simple to use app, that allows you to set your own goals and targets. Very USA based for searches, but you can add you own items if you add the in your own recipes. I love the reports and graphs than be exported and printed.

### 3/5 — Good app with a lot of potential

*2016-05-14, version 1.2*

This app is just what I was looking for however the search function leaves a lot to be desired as it gives too many hits and is a bit clumsy to use. The app will be much better for UK users when more familiar products are on the database such as sausages! Couldn't find them anywhere! More UK supermarkets would be good too. The app definitely has potential.

### 5/5 — A Godsend!!

*2016-03-10, version 1.1.1*

Recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and appreciate the ease with which food journals can be created and logged. Doesn't have all my favorite foods but that motivates me to change up my menues. Thanks!

### 4/5 — Great concept

*2016-02-01, version 1.1.1*

A few bugs, nice app overall though

### 4/5 — Tracks everything I need

*2016-01-19, version 1.1.1*

I just installed this because it helps me to monitor the areas I want to - weight, blood pressure, most importantly, blood sugar. I spent $3 (not bad) for the modules I'm interested in.

It was not obvious (at least to me) that you simply start typing to enter values but once you become familiar with the process it's OK. I particularly like being able to stipulate WHEN I test my blood sugar. The app takes a guess based on time of day but it is easy to change. That's so helpful and so important.

It would be nice if I could hide everything I don't care about but it's not super critical.

I haven't checked out all the features yet and I'm hoping that reporting will be good. So far so good. It meets my requirements for the most part as of now.

### 3/5 — Best app for carb tack

*2016-01-18, version 1.1.1*

This app gives you more than expected. I was looking for some type of app log. One for counting glucose and carbs. This works great for me, as a pre-diabetic, every number counts. Making the count right, is what makes it work!!

### 4/5 — Great for diabetes records.

*2016-01-15, version 1.1.1*

Awesome App.
Great for keeping details of diabetic habits.
Buy the in-app add-ons for more details and doctor friendly information.

### 4/5 — Very helpful

*2015-12-29, version 1.1.1*

I'm enjoying seeing what I eat and the nutrition consequences of each. After only a few days I have started changing my eating habits for the better. I do wish this app didn't eat up so much band width. Any of the restaurant foods I have checked are missing vital info. For instance: Panera doesn't have the sugars and cholesterol for most items. sheesh.

### 4/5 — Nice

*2015-12-28, version 1.1.1*

A nice app to follow carbs. A bit out of date on restaurants and you need to know exact wording of menu item otherwise it is a bit of a search. If your food can not be found, edit a similar one.

### 1/5 — Crashes on startup

*2015-12-20, version 1.1.1*

This app crashes on startup on ipad 2 using ios 9.2. Please fix.

### 1/5 — Ummm. No. Big disappointment

*2015-07-02, version 1.1*

Downloaded this app twice and never got a chance to try it. Each time I attempted to open it, it would crash and shut down. It looks like it would be a great app--if it worked. If bugs are fixed, I may be willing to give it another go.

### 2/5 — Review

*2020-12-25, version 2.0*

To hard to put information into app.

### 2/5 — Too many ad interruptions

*2020-07-04, version 1.4.1*

Nice app but there are so many others that do not interrupt you in the middle of your input w/videos and other junk u don’t want. Sorry, moving somewhere else.

### 2/5 — Lame

*2019-02-06, version 1.4.1*

Every touch to the screen causes a pop up to appear and the only way to get rid of them is to purchase 2 or more of the “add ones” not mentioned in the preview.

Also very hard to use and understand.

### 2/5 — Very poor support

*2016-11-02, version 1.3*

It's a nice app when it works. I have even gotten others to purchase it. However, support is minimal, slow, and not very helpful. I recently had to re-install my iPad version to my new iPad and it will not open all the categories even though I purchased the entire suite for my old iPad. Support has been minimal and of no help. It has some great potential when it is working and hopefully these problems will be remedied for others.

### 2/5 — Small Food Database

*2016-10-23, version 1.3*

I had to constantly add the food information by hand because the food database was too small to just find my food. It's great that it does net carbs: however, it should also count calories. I try to eat about 30 carbs a day, but occasionally, we all have days when little protein is available, and we are surrounded by the Carb Villains. Birthdays, holidays, I've been traveling in my car for 8 hours days. On those days I must keep my calorie count low so I don't gain weight. I also have a huge problem with apps that keep asking for more money if you want all the features available to you, as in $9.00 per month or $49.00 per year. I found another app that I paid a flat $2.99 for and it has a great food database and counts both net carbs and calories, as well as vitamins, cholesterol, salt and every micronutrient I could ever wish for. No monthly or yearly fee needed. Keep looking for a better app than this one and your search will be rewarded.😊

### 2/5 — Preview only

*2015-11-04, version 1.1.1*

Everything worthwhile in this app requires in-app purchase. The only thing this version really does is give you a better look at what you buy with the paid version.

### 3/5 — Nice app

*2022-06-13, version 3.0*

It would be nicer, if a restaurant or grocery store could be downloaded from the web.

### 3/5 — It could be SO much better!

*2022-04-10, version 3.0*

I have been using this app for years. I purchased the modules I intended to use, which was fine. The medication log is great IF you didn’t have to delete all the medications to clear previous months. If you don’t do this minimally every three months, it’s SO SLOW. Then you have to rebuild your medication list to start logging again. IT IS A SIMPLE PROGRAMMING ADDITION TO DELETE A PRIOR MONTH OF LOGGING INFORMATION! Why hasn’t this been done yet? After reading all these reviews, I know that I am one of MANY who have reported this issue!

Now, to the present. What is with the huge add before you can open a module now? These adds are what will kill this app. When you pay for a product, you shouldn’t have to deal with constant ads. Add an option to NEVER display ads (NEVER EVER) for a couple bucks. Everyone will do it!

I was a Software Quality Assurance Specialist for 35 years and I’m telling you that this product COULD be amazing. You just NEED to make simple changes!

### 5/5 — Use Daily

*2020-08-02, version 2.0*

Track blood sugar, bp, weight, temperature and oxygen level daily. Has helps keep me on my toes with blood sugar. Would like to be able to customize names on blood sugar input times but that is a wish not a need.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2018-08-04, version 1.4.1*

I love the graphing and seeing daily how I am doing vs how I did. Only thing I am missing is a place to chart my daily temp. Recently started doing chemo and it would be extremely helpful to be able to add that chart with all my other info so I can see everything in one place. If you can update the app to include this that would be awesome. Thanks.

### 5/5 — Works great

*2017-11-21, version 1.4.1*

Works as intended. It's nice to be able to track everything on one app.

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2017-09-18, version 1.4.1*

I really like this app for tracking carbs. I also like that I can create my own categories and foods. Everything is right at my fingertips. It's pretty user friendly too.

### 5/5 — Not too bad expected worse

*2017-01-10, version 1.3*

Works for me

### 5/5 — The Search is Over

*2016-10-19, version 1.3*

This is the best carb app by far! Just stick to basic food groups when searching and this app will bring up specifics.... Love it. Easy. It tracks your water intake, too!

### 5/5 — Review of the best‼️

*2016-10-15, version 1.3*

💯%Good,Easy to Use"Can't Miss"
I have used this for a while and I would not be with out it. THE BOMB‼️
         Easy the BEST👍

### 5/5 — Great App

*2016-08-11, version 1.2*

Glad I found this free app. The popular diet apps don't seem to get the need to count carbs. I only seem to lose weight when I follow the old "If you bite it, you write it" rule, and this helps a lot. After a week of use, I paid .99 to add the exercise module, to help spur me to move more.

### 5/5 — Excellent!

*2016-07-08, version 1.2*

This app has the tracking basics I need for free. i.e. Weight, Nutrition, & BMI and is user friendly.

I can add other tracking features if I want/need them. i.e. Glucose & other diabetes related add-ons.

The Journal Food overview and Reports are very worthwhile.

I got an immediate Support response to a question about entering a previous day food item. Five Stars!

### 5/5 — Makes a big difference

*2016-06-07, version 1.2*

This app is easy to use and gives me a lot of information at my fingertips. The ability to print out reports is an important asset. I like the ability to add my own recipes, favorites and regularly used foods that are not in the extensive databases.
