### 3/5 — If only

*2026-07-05*

I love being organized but I wish I can make more than just two check lists because the only two I can make are the free ones

**Developer response:** I hear you -- but a lot of development time is going into updating and building new features for the app. To support that work, we do require upgrading to make more than two checklists.

Thanks for using CheckYourList! I hope you're getting a lot of use out of the app and find it valuable enough the upgrade is worth it to you! If it's something you really want but genuinely can't afford, send me an email at help@checkyourlist.app and I'll see if I can help.

### 3/5 — Its just ok even premium

*2026-04-01, version 1.3*

I with this would move checked items out of view and had groups within checklists, the functionality is limited for $5 a month

### 3/5 — Subskrypcja???

*2025-07-18, version 1.2.24*

Aplikacja bardzo w porządku ale płacić co miesiąc za coś takiego.

### 4/5 — Nice app

*2025-06-14, version 1.2.24*

It’s a nice app. I would like it to have an option to create “sections” within a list somewhere it look cleaner

### 4/5 — Ok

*2024-09-29, version 1.2.21*

### 2/5 — Expensive for a checklist, free version useless.

*2024-09-18*

I thought it was okay but you get two checklists. And when you go to make a third it says you have to pay $25 (normal price $50). For another checklist. I’m surprised anyone wants a third checklist enough to pay this with all the free checklists out there. I’m glad so many people are doing exceptionally well financially right now to the point where they will pay this much for a checklist. Like really congrats. There should be a T-shirt that’s says “I bought a $50 checklist on my phone cause I’m killing it”.

### 3/5 — READ THIS BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD!!! 🫤👍

*2024-07-23*

Well, I Was súper Excited to get this app and have organized routines but don't get your hopes up, because, IDK if this Is just me but I could only do 2 checklists and I have to PAY to do Moré checklists so that is FRUSTERATING but it is a good app I love the checklists even though I could only do 2 checklists😭😭😭😭😭😭

### 4/5 — Good app

*2024-07-18, version 1.2.21*

Simple and intuitive but too expensive to buy full version

### 4/5 — Brilliant app but too expensive

*2024-04-30, version 1.2.20*

The limited lists function confirmed for me that this is one of the best checklists apps out there, unfortunately the pricing for lifetime even at 50% off is as much as a AAA game in my country.

### 5/5 — Simple but perfect

*2024-04-24, version 1.2.20*

Nice simple app that does exactly what I wanted

### 5/5 — Power in simplicity

*2024-03-21, version 1.2.14*

There are myriad of list apps out there but none of them get a simple idea of resetting the recurring list. Such as “morning ritual”, “getting things for a travel trip”, “doing a weekly review”, etc. This app does. Well done.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Now with AI bloat and subscriptions

*2026-02-15, version 1.2.36*

This was a simple list tool. Now infested with AI and subscriptions.

### 1/5 — Not many options

*2026-01-07, version 1.2.32*

You can only make 2 lists

### 1/5 — Exorbitant price

*2025-09-29*

Don’t bother installing.

### 1/5 — Update Destroyed 150 item list

*2025-04-11*

Updated the app on iPhone today and it completely erased the one and only checklist I had with 150 items in it. Apparently their free version ain’t free anymore. Lousy way to try and force people to pay monthly!! Deleted their “new” app!

**Developer response:** Hi, the app is still free for three lists, this is not the expected behaviour. Can you please email me and I will see if we can recover your data as it should be in your iCloud account

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2024-12-20, version 1.2.21*

Worst checklist ever couldn’t create a list let alone a checklist or something usable like a grocery list or to do list

### 1/5 — Extremely overpriced

*2024-04-21*

Bare bones multiple routines app but pricing is more than even Routinery which is one of the best apps in this category. The developer needs to research the competition and put a fair price on his app.

### 1/5 — Really? People pay for this?

*2023-11-06, version 1.2.14*

So much money… no recurring automation, no times or dates, no nesting. Well good luck to you matey. If folk actually pay you for this then you deserve to take their money 😱

### 2/5 — No free version, very basic

*2026-07-03*

You have to pay on the third list. There’s a promise of features that don’t show up. One feature I would like is the ability to re-order the list. It’s just extremely basic.

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear you haven't had a great experience with the app. You can reorder a list with drag and drop -- press and hold on an item, drag it to move it around.

I'm curious what features you thought were promised but didn't show up -- drop me a line at help@checkyourlist.app if you want to talk it through. I'd love to help you get setup so that everything works just the way you'd like.

### 2/5 — Glitchy

*2025-08-17*

It glitches all the time. I open it and it takes forever to load or add or remove items from the list. On wifi or no wifi, on iPad or iPhone, heavy memory lots of apps open or no apps open.
Doesn’t work as fast as a list should. It would otherwise be perfect.

### 2/5 — Watch App Doesn’t Work

*2025-02-23*

Paid expensive monthly subscription $7.99/month. Watch app doesn’t work. Emailed developer but no response in a week. Cancelled subscription. Rest of the app is ok - pretty basic and not a $8/month app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Impressed

*2026-04-24*

I use a lot of check lists and have gone through a lot of check list apps. I’ve settled on Things for personal life, TickTick for work, and Reminders for groceries. But I was still missing something - no app filled the niche of the perfect “routine” checklist. I have sort of complex morning and evening routines, and I needed something to run them from the apple watch for various reasons. To do this, it needed to be 1) responsive and sync quickly 2) have a good complication with a progress bar of some sort 3) automatically sort done items to bottom 4) be easy to check/uncheck from the watch 5) reset nightly 6) allow you to set a specific list for a given watch face and, importantly, 7) allow you to determine the order that the list items appear on the watch (not alphabetical!). I maybe went through 30 apps before I found Check Your List, and it excels in all criteria. I have a shortcut automatically transition my watch to the “morning routine” face at 4 am, the “evening routine” face at 8:45 pm, and another shortcut to reset each list at 3 am. Finally, I have the perfect routine app for watch integration. If you need a to do app loaded with features then this may not be for you. But if you need something lean and simple, especially for “routines”, this is the one. The chosen one.

### 5/5 — Simple and functional

*2026-04-15, version 1.3*

All I needed was an app that can create a custom list, allowing me to check tasks off daily, and the ability to add a reminder widget to my home screen. This app lets me do exactly that. 5/5 from me 😁

### 5/5 — Simple and Perfect

*2026-02-08*

I needed a checklist for daily routines and I didn't like having to manually uncheck every item. This app solves that problem!

### 5/5 — Major boost in motivation

*2026-01-27*

I’ve had a great experience with Daily Checklist! Personally, I use it as a weekly checklist and a daily checklist. At the beginning of the week, I create a short list for each day, and it lets me easily track my progress throughout the week with cool progress bars. It also makes it easy to go back and catch up on tasks I’ve missed. I actually love this little thing.

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2026-01-23*

Love how simple this app is. I’ve tried a dozen other routine, habit tracker, and task list apps and they’re all full of fluff and distraction. If you’re just looking for a simple repeatable task list, this one is great.

### 5/5 — Excellent “one thing well” app

*2025-12-26*

I have a number of checklists that repeat periodically: a daily Habits list, a shutdown cheklist, several travel checklists, and a several related to my work. I’ve been looking for an app like this for years. It’s useful for implementing ideas in “The Checklist Manifesto“ by Atul Gawande (highly recommended).

Update: the developer has been very responsive to questions.

### 5/5 — Clean and simple

*2025-11-19, version 1.2.26*

Minimal design always works best.

### 5/5 — Excellent “one thing well” app

### 5/5 — Question

*2025-06-16*

This app is amazing and perfect. I only have one question before I purchase the full version but is there no way to add an Apple Watch complication? I need quick and easy access to make the most use of this. :)

### 5/5 — Good

*2024-04-29, version 1.2.20*

Does the job.
