However, I've only given it three stars as every time I go into the app it pauses any music that was playing. Gets very frustrating especially as there are no controls to change this. Only small crosswords but good to do when have few minutes to fill. ### 5/5 — Favorite Crossword App! *2026-03-24* I first started playing Daily Crosswords 10 years ago. Played pretty much daily, until the new puzzles stopped coming out a few years ago. So glad to see it is now back! Playing daily again. Very unique gameplay makes this crossword addicting, and it syncs with iCloud so progress is saved across devices. Love it! The only improvement I would suggest is to make it possible to remove ads. I would gladly pay a small one-time registration fee to be able to permanently remove the ads, although the ads are not too bad. Thanks for bringing this game back. I missed playing it!
