### 5/5 — Amazing App for Seminary/Divinity students!

*2021-11-23, version 1.0.24*

Wow! I got several apps because I’ll be taking Biblical Hebrew and Greek in the spring and wanted to learn the basics to be prepared and I stumbled upon this!!!! So COOL! The learn videos are amazing, I love the daily scripture that he goes over and explains in Greek! It felt very personal so it was easier to connect with as compared to the YouTube videos I have used. Absolutely perfect for me while I’m in my Master of Divinity program (and eventual PhD). If you are a divinity or seminary student this app is a must!!!!👏🏽 You can tell the creator of the app is passionate about learning and sharing Greek with others when you see the depth they have put into this app!

### 5/5 — What a find!

*2021-08-11, version 1.0.24*

This app is a treasure in the field for those of us who want to sharpen up our Koine Greek. It’s a real pleasure to have excellent scholars going over the Scriptures, one verse at a time. Hats off to Robert Plummer and his team. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Very good, but missing a search option

*2021-07-03, version 1.0.24*

The ability to search for certain videos or topics would make this app perfect.

### 5/5 — Wonderful resource!

*2021-03-03, version 1.0.24*

The app is smooth and simple, and the content is amazing. Dr. Plummer is a renowned Greek scholar and the daily bite-sized pieces have helped me so much in keeping my biblical Greek up-to-snuff during times when I don’t have much time to study the Greek New Testament on my own

### 5/5 — Excellent NT Greek App

*2020-11-13, version 1.0.24*

Greatly appreciate the work Dr. Plummer has been doing on this project! This is a great tool to help solidify grammatical terms or NT vocabulary into one’s mind as they study Greek, or to keep it up after they have finished their studies.

### 5/5 — שמיר ב

*2020-06-26, version 1.0.24*

כל הכבוד!

### 5/5 — Brilliant! Do Latin next please!

*2020-06-17, version 1.0.24*

Love this app. So thankful for all the work that goes into this. Keep up the great work. Latin as well?

### 5/5 — Great for students

*2020-05-04, version 1.0.24*

I’m a seminary student and going through Elementary Greek for the second time (Bible College grad from 2013). The small and short videos are super helpful in refreshing the things I may not be clear still or are weeks passed in being covered in class.

I wish it covered more tenses, though.

### 5/5 — Amazing and helpful tool

*2019-11-23, version 1.0.24*

Dr. Plummer is a brilliant Greek scholar and is very helpful at explaining a very foreign language to new Greek scholars. Thanks Dr. Plummer!

### 5/5 — The pronunciation

*2019-10-16, version 1.0.24*

The pronunciation is SUPER INCORRECT plus try to have a native speaker read it !!! ρε ανθέλληνες στρακια!!!

### 5/5 — A great tool

*2019-10-04, version 1.0.24*

This app is a great tool to learn or brush up on your Greek. Daily post keep the text before you and help you do you continually refresh your mind with the language. Thank you for continually adding content to this app.

### 5/5 — Amazing app!!!!!

*2019-08-09, version 1.0.24*

This app is great for anyone who wants to keep up their Greek (I haven’t used the learning bit of the app, so I can’t speak for that)! It gives you a great translation and parsing of a Greek sentence that is very straight forward and easy to understand while still paying attention to smaller details, like the balance and layering of the sentence. It helps get over the worst curses of lazy language learners like me who, first, don't seem to find time to get out all your books et cetera by having a single convenient video no more than 2-3 minutes everyday. And second, for those who, when you do start to review on your own quickly lose heart as soon as you hit a road block and have to pull out a dictionary or class notes, or just plain can’t find out the present stem of some lovely aorist, as all the translations and forms are covered in the videos! Also, it makes a great reference tool as you have access to all previous videos (it’s by no means the whole of the New Testament, but it is a good deal, and you get more everyday;)) I plan to recommend this app to all I know who have studied or want to study Greek!!! Excellent, excellent app!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2021-03-18, version 1.0.24*

Same as other reviewers. Doesn’t work - just crashes.

### 1/5 — Crashes on opening

*2020-11-12, version 1.0.24*

Not sure what to do. Crashes every time I open it. iOS latest version, app up to date...

### 1/5 — The app is not working

*2020-07-31, version 1.0.24*

Hi, the app is not working! After you guys fix it I will change my review to 5 stars.

### 1/5 — i doesn’t work

*2019-11-03, version 1.0.24*

It does not work, the app close itself it seems that loads something and the it just close.

### 1/5 — Se cierra

*2018-07-30, version 1.0.16*

Al abrir la aplicación parece estar cargando algo, y en un momento más se cierra sin más.

### 2/5 — Good but no notifications

*2021-01-22*

I love these videos, but a daily push notification would be helpful in staying on track. It doesn’t appear to be working even though I allowed notifications upon request.

### 2/5 — Great but needs help

*2018-07-20, version 1.0.16*

I do the DDG everyday and have always wanted an app for it. The concept is great but every time I try to open the app on my iPhone X, it crashes. So I can’t use the app. Which is very unfortunate.

### 4/5 — Awesome! Except…..

*2026-01-19, version 1.2.0*

Great app! The only critique I have is the auto play goes backward…. I start on Matthew 18:1, hoping to go forward, and then it takes me backward to Matthew 17:27…?

If auto play moved forward, then that would be great.

Love the concept and the content!

### 4/5 — Excellent!

*2022-05-27, version 1.0.24*

Incredible app with such rich application. The only thing I would suggest that needs to be changed is the order of the autoplay. For example, if I select John 5:3 the next video it autoplays is John 5:2. It would be great if instead it went to 5:4 so you could listen through a passage.

### 4/5 — Brilliant, minor tweaks needed

*2021-09-28, version 1.0.24*

I love the format, and it’s quite incredible this is available for free.

Two small tweaks to the app would help enormously though;
- when 1 clip finishes, I want it to play the FOLLOWING clip, not the previous one. ( I don’t quite understand why someone would want to work backwards through the text, I certainly don’t. )

- it’d be great if I could bookmark where I’m up to.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-04-06, version 1.2.0*

Such a great resource! Thank you for your generosity, hard work and excellence.

### 5/5 — Get it

*2026-01-05, version 1.2.0*

It will transform your Greek studies.

### 5/5 — Recover and Advance

*2025-10-17, version 1.2.0*

This fabulous app helped me recover Greek learned long ago and advance beyond my expectations! The daily routine is essential and life changing.

### 5/5 — Must have

*2025-10-07, version 1.2.0*

This is by far the best app for Greek students.

I am however having trouble with the chapter reviews and reading overviews not loading.

### 5/5 — Absolutely Wonderful App

*2025-03-26, version 1.2.0*

I was able to write notes from the learn section in the app, and I was able to start reading the New Testament in a literal week. It sounds like I’m loading my brain uncontrollably, but I found that vocab and a basic understanding of the grammar is all that is needed.

Here’s a few things I would add:
BRING BACK SEPTUAGINT WEEK! I think it is a lovely feature for people to be able to read beyond the New Testament. I also know that you guys support gntvocab.com, so I wonder if you could also get them to do Septuagint books for the vocab.

Thank you for this app though! You guys are doing great things!

### 5/5 — Request

*2025-01-02, version 1.2.0*

It is possible to have a marker that shows which videos you have already watched?

### 5/5 — Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.

*2024-03-08, version 1.1.0*

THIS APP ESPECIALLY HELPS ME as I am learning Greek II in college right now was a Religion student. And I am soo soo lost. And I am utterly grateful for this reference I can use to learning the Greek Language which I was once intimidated of. Thank you again so much because now I can bring my grade in this class up😭🙏🏾

### 5/5 — Great application

*2024-01-22, version 1.1.0*

Wonderful and perfect for a masters student in religious studies !

### 5/5 — This is a fantastic resource!

*2022-08-07, version 1.0.24*

I’m very thankful for this resource! It’s helping me to remember many verses I had forgotten. This is my go to app for studying koine Greek!

### 5/5 — So helpful! Minor suggestion:

*2022-01-12, version 1.0.24*

These videos are helping me make it through Greek 2 like an awesome study buddy. I am so grateful this app exists and that I have access to explore it without fee. Please keep going!! This is blessing so many people with the ability to better understand and teach from God’s word.

Minor suggestion, some of the videos are reverse sorted, meaning auto play goes backwards to the previous verse each time the video stops. For instance I’m watching all of John ch 6 right now and because they are listed In reverse order, I have to back out and select the next video every time, rather than just clicking “next” or allowing auto play to have its function. It would probably take two seconds on your end for your tech guy to sort the other direction, bringing your auto play function back to life.

Please keep going! This has helped me understand so much during my studies. It’s a real blessing.
