## What is Daily Guidance?

Daily Guidance is a clean, focused Islamic companion for daily practice. Every feature is built around ease of use and a premium visual experience, with no clutter and no subscriptions.

Daily Quran Verse

A new Ayah is shown each day, selected deterministically so every user shares the same verse. The full Arabic text is displayed in your preferred script — Uthmani or Uthmani Minimal — alongside a translation in your language of choice, including English, Urdu, Arabic, French, Spanish, Indonesian, Bengali, Russian, and Turkish. The complete Quran database is stored on-device, so no internet connection is required.

Prayer Times

Accurate prayer times for Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha are calculated locally using verified solar algorithms, with support for five major calculation methods — Muslim World League, ISNA, Egyptian General Authority, Umm al-Qura, and the University of Islamic Sciences Karachi. Asr calculation follows either the Shafi or Hanafi shadow convention. Times update automatically when you change your location in settings.

Qibla Compass

The Qibla direction is computed from your location using a spherical bearing formula and displayed on a live compass dial driven by your device's orientation sensor. No internet connection required.

Daily Wallpaper

A curated high-resolution image is surfaced each day and available as a home screen wallpaper. Save directly to your Photos library with one tap.

Poster Creator

Generate shareable Quran verse posters with the same Ayah displayed in a full-resolution 1080x1440 canvas. Choose from multiple atmospheric backgrounds, Arabic scripts, and translation styles. Save to your gallery or share directly.

Gallery

All saved wallpapers and posters are stored in an in-app gallery with type badges, aspect ratio–aware layout, and a full-screen viewer with left-right swipe navigation and swipe-to-dismiss.

Notifications

Set a daily reminder at a time of your choosing to receive the day's verse.

Privacy

No account required. No data is sent to external servers beyond fetching wallpaper images. All Quran content, prayer calculations, and Qibla bearing are computed entirely on-device.
