## What is Daily Journal?

In One Line is the simplest way to keep a diary: write one line a day.
No blank pages, no pressure, no guilt - just a single sentence about your day. In under a minute, you're done.

And it's completely private. Your words, moods, and photos live only on your device. No account to create. Nothing syncs to a cloud. Nothing is uploaded. And there is absolutely no AI reading your life. What you write stays yours - always.

WHY ONE LINE
A blank journal is intimidating. One line is not. A single sentence a day is small enough to keep up forever - and looking back, those lines become the most honest record of your life you'll ever own.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
  • Everything stays on your iPhone - works fully offline
  • No sign-up, no email, no account required
  • No cloud, no servers, no tracking, no ads
  • No AI — your entries are never analyzed or sent anywhere
  • Lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode

WRITE IN SECONDS
  • Capture your day in one line - or write more when you feel like it
  • Speak instead of type with voice entry
  • Add a mood to remember how the day really felt
  • Attach photos to bring a memory back to life
  • A gentle daily reminder so you never miss a day

LOOK BACK
  • Browse your entries on a clean calendar and timeline
  • "On this day" resurfaces what you wrote in past years
  • Build a streak that's genuinely easy to keep
  • A calm, distraction-free, paper-inspired design

YOURS TO KEEP
  • Export your diary whenever you like - your data is never locked in
  • Add it to your Home Screen with a widget
  • Optional Sign in with Apple if you ever want it - never required

One line a day. A whole life, remembered.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2026-06-26*

This app actually means so much to me. It really helps me reflect on the good things every day, take more pictures, and remember happy little moments with my family. The design is elegant and so easy to use, and it’s cool that you can add photos and emotions to the entries. I genuinely look forward to using it every day. I’ve tried other similar apps, but this one’s the best! The developer is awesome and seems to actually care about the app’s users and feedback :)

**Developer response:** Thank you, this means a lot.
