Perfect app that does what it does without any fuss. I use this to jot down notes about tasks completed, calls made, info learned, etc. I am self-employed and wanted a simple method of keeping a record of info for the myriad projects I have going at any given time. It has a simple search function so as long as I keep my terminology/project name consistent I can pull up entries similar to tag-searching. I love the simplicity of what is essentially a calendar based notes app. I am able to make several short entries on a single date, all visible from the start screen. This feature is a huge part of the app’s functionality for me because it allows me to glance at all my notes on a given day while keeping entries separated by project. There’s no fancy/cutesy formatting that only shows previews of entries—you can read the entirety of each entry right from the main calendar page. There’s no way to attach files (nor do I want this feature! The simplicity is the appeal!) so I use a separate companion app for documents, receipts, photos, etc. ### 5/5 — I like the way it looks! *2024-05-28, version 2.64.20* Just downloaded this app, it’s amazing! I’d like to see an option for “end time” and an accompanying timeline that these entries would plug into automatically with the possibility of overlapping and non-overlapping periods of time. All in all, even as it is, it’s the best, most concise, efficient logbook app I’ve found, and I’ve done more than a little looking. ### 5/5 — Simple to the point *2023-12-11, version 2.63.49* This app is exactly what I needed to log all of my evil neighbors antics with time/date and notes. I didn’t want to clog up my regular calendar. I simply wanted an app that lets me keep track of what I’m doing throughout the day. I think it’ll help me be realistic about how I’m spending my time and whether I regularly waste it. I don’t need to know how many times I typed the words “the”, “and”, etc. But thanks a ton for making this. I need to explore your other log apps. Une bannière promotionnelle d'abonnement, qui couvre un quart de l'écran d'un iPhone SE et propose un service (IA) non disponible sur cet appareil (sous iOS 15), est inacceptable. Le développeur justifie cette intrusion par ses « intérêts personnels » et des « frais de service IA », bien que l'IA soit inexistante pour l'utilisateur concerné. Le développeur a offert un an d'abonnement, ce qui paraît faussement sympathique. Cela ne règle pas le problème, mais ne fait que le repousser, tout en m'habituant subtilement, moi l'utilisateur, à payer un abonnement inutile pour une application qui n'en nécessite pas. L'absurdité est flagrante : Cet abonnement ne sert qu'à supprimer la bannière elle-même. Il est inouï de devoir payer un service inexistant uniquement pour retrouver l'intégralité de son écran. C'est une extorsion déguisée, non un modèle économique viable. Nous acceptons de payer pour des fonctionnalités supplémentaires ou la suppression de publicités ; mais cet abus dégrade l'expérience utilisateur et démontre un mépris total du service. RÉPONSE : Bonjour Gaurav, Je vous remercie pour votre réponse, mais elle ne répond pas au problème de fond. Mon mécontentement ne porte pas sur l'absence de fonctionnalités IA sur mon appareil, mais sur un choix de design délibéré qui dégrade l'expérience utilisateur. Il n'y a aucun rapport logique entre la promotion d'un abonnement et l'obstruction physique d'un quart de l'écran par une bannière permanente. Il existe de nombreux moyens d'inciter à l'abonnement sans détériorer l'utilisabilité de l'application. Proposer de payer (ou offrir un an) pour simplement retrouver l'intégralité de son écran pour un service dont on ne peut pas profiter reste, sur le principe, une approche que je trouve inacceptable. Finalement, cette situation n'est plus un problème pour moi. Cette déception m'a poussé à agir : j'ai développé ma propre application, bien plus sophistiquée et adaptée à mes besoins, grâce à l'outil Lovable (et, d'une certaine manière, grâce à l'impulsion que votre stratégie m'a donnée). In the upcoming 2.72 release we’re adding a ‘Reset all settings to defaults’ option (Settings → Developer → bottom of the list). That will clear any older preferences that might be keeping the “last entry” note stuck on.
