***UPDATE JUNE 11, 2026*** (initial 1 star review continues from June 3rd…)

I’ve been a Premium Annual Subscriber for over a year now. As someone who has ADHD and a child with autism, this app was amazing. When it was functional. I experienced several glitches over the months such as tasks or notes not saving, or when trying to edit something it froze and kicked me out, only to have lost all progress once I restarted the app. 

That being said, I tried outsmarting the bugs every now and then, screenshotting something of my notes in the case I lost it all (which I shouldn’t have to do…), and I’m glad I was able to save a couple things. Sadly, a majority I did not. Couple weeks ago the app lost all functionality and will not allow me to access ANYTHING on the app. Including my profile settings. Even after installing the latest update. It won’t open or view anything… There are many critical and personal financial logs, notes, diary entries, projects, etc that I need access to immediately. 

I reached out to customer support (as suggested via email) day or two after it failed to let me access my data. No response. Followed up a week later (couple days ago as of 6/11/26), still nothing. Messaged on Facebook. Nothing. Wrote a review on here (initially 6/3/26) and Facebook (which I never do, but since it looked like a majority of Brite responding was more prompt to those leaving 1 star negative reviews) in hopes that would facilitate and expedite my inquiries. Nada. 

Now I see constant update posts being funneled on Facebook. I understand sometimes various team members may have different tasks or whatever the case may be, I understand that. But as someone who helps contribute financial support to an app that is suppose to be helpful… the least someone could do is touch base. A little communication goes a long way. I just want to know I haven’t lost everything and my data is still synced to their servers so I can retrieve it. 

I would HIGHLY recommend doing some research BEFORE committing to ANY kind of subscription with the app, at least until they can be more reliable and organized. As much as I have truly loved everything the app has to offer and have put extensive dedication and work into it… it’s discouraging and frankly frustrating that there has been no amount of accountability or assistance to resolve any issues to the lack of consistent reliable functionality and my inaccessibility of this app. 

As great as this app could be, I think the focus needs to be less on continually pushing updates and AI and prioritizing that basic functionality of the app itself is sound and reliable… and possibly a bit better communication. Especially for those who are financially supporting your app…

Unfortunately at this time, I will be cancelling my subscription until I’ve been given any kind of reassurance things will be made right. I’ve been extremely patient and hopeful, but it only extends for so long. Sorry for the long wind but had to express my frustration and hopefully spare someone from experiencing the same thing. I paid for lifetime years ago but the app was too full of bugs. I was fine waiting for it to cook a little longer with how promissing it was. I decided to give it a shot again. The website states in multiple places that apple calendar integration works on iphone, ipad and mac app (not web). But the mac app hasn’t been updated in 2 years, no info anywhere about that. The AI bot fed me the same info as the website, no help. No way to speak to someone as the bot repeatedly presented itself as a human which significantly reduce my already microscopic trust in the company. Too bad because it had a lot potential.

Wow. I can’t believe I just discovered Brite. I’ve tried many different apps like Todoist, TickTick, Structured, etc but they all seem to be missing something. One of my main things is being aesthetically pleasing and with Brite, I’m able to customize homepage widgets and colors. The thing that sold me was the ability to have different dashboards for my personal, work, and vacation needs. The customer chat is super responsive (I’ve heard there are delays on email so try the chat) and from what I’ve seen, they are constantly updating their app based on user feedback. I’m incredibly excited to get my life organized with this app!

I have been trying to use this app because I thought it was really cool but I keep getting an outlook prompt to login and when I try it never works but the prompt keeps popping up. I paid for premium and have been trying to get a refund and haven’t received a response from support. There is chat support on the app but it’s managed by AI bots and they stopped responding after I asked for a refund. I cannot even use the app because of the continuous prompt to login to outlook which doesn’t work and I’ve tried various methods to try to fix it and nothing.
