I’m not fond of the Bible version this app uses. I wish there were other options available. I really like the prayer reminders! The prayers are just okay. They really make us sound pitiful though, and their sentence structure is worded to use a LOT of commas. I like the prayer wall but wish you could control how fast you want to read it vs watching it scroll on its own. ### 4/5 — Skips versus occasionally when listening to audio *2026-03-08, version 7.5.4* I have been using this app for sometime, and I really enjoy it however I have found that when listening to the audio in certain verses mostly in the New Testament versus are skipped over, the verse is in the text of the gospel, however Matthew 17:19 was skipped in the audio. “ Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked why couldn’t we drive it out?” if someone relies only on the audio, they will miss important parts of the gospel. ### 4/5 — I love God *2025-09-25, version 7.5.4* I mean you have to pay to pray to Jesus and you have to download more apps ### 4/5 — Flexibility *2025-02-19, version 7.5.3* I love this app!!! The only thing I wish this app allows is the flexibility to choose how much and how long the reading should be. I have OCD and I’m compelled to read all the verses of the day when it said pick one or all, it’s too much to read and absorb at once. I would love to have the flexibility on how much I read throughout the day. Like one chapter a day instead of two/three long chapters. Have a choice to read specific chapters a day. If you could add flexibility to the app it would be perfect! This is not good for those of us who do not care for these individuals! What happened to “division of church and state?!” Please ask your subscribers to keep POLITICS out of this safe and beautiful App! However, I was confused by two things, one was where it was getting the readings from, the second was where it was getting some of the prayers from the Prayer wall. One was a very vindictive and would take me out of communication with The Lord if I read that during a morning prayer session. Unfortunately, I need more. ### 3/5 — Needs translation options *2021-03-11, version 5.2* Overall I want to really like this app. It is a simple way to create pause in my day and focus on God, and I appreciate the distraction free environment they created! However, there is one major flaw. They only offer the ESV as the Bible reading translation. I am personally opposed to the ESV, as it has no women on its board of translators and attempted to prescribe complementarianism into the scriptures instead of letting the scripture speak for itself. The app is simple, there is nothing hidden, and it’s all free! There is one thing I have for the developers.
