Find complete services for Morning, Evening and Night Prayer from the Church of England with this official Daily Prayer app. From the earliest days of Christianity, Christians have gathered at regular times each day and night to read the Bible, praise God and pray for the world. Daily Prayer helps the Christians of today take part in this regular pattern of worship. For every day of the year, it presents material for Morning, Evening and Night Prayer in both contemporary (Common Worship) and traditional (Book of Common Prayer) forms. All services are provided in full and include Bible readings (NRSV translation), psalms, canticles and seasonal variations. Access audio for Morning and Evening Prayer (Contemporary Services) from the accompanying official Daily Prayer podcast with the new audio player. The new player will appear at the start of Morning and Evening Prayer services for which a podcast episode is available (Morning Prayer services are normally published at 00.15 GMT and Evening Prayer services at 14.00 GMT). Please can you restore it? ### 5/5 — No Longer a Free App *2026-03-02, version 1.9.2* I have been blessed by this application. Used it for years. I’m a member of the Anglican Church of America, Diocese of Fort Worth. I just became aware that starting 16 March, I will have to pay a $4 / year subscription. I am a retired US Naval Submarine Officer on a fixed pension. A Cold War veteran, I commanded one of the US Navy’s nuclear boats for 3 years. Now, I cannot afford to pay for a subscription and I will not use this application after 03/15/26. I would submit the opinion that were it not for US and UK submariners, we’d be speaking Russian. Farewell, most excellent app! Farewell, Church of England! Scrolling - sometimes refuses to scroll. You can drag it down a bit and it jitters and bounces back. 2. Switching the app for another takes you back to the start of the office. This means that you can’t set up a reading, switch off the phone, and return to the reading by opening the phone. The scrolling issue makes it unreliable.
