The latest update is even worse as you can’t just scroll back up, it freezes. Swiping right to the next story and back does not fix this either. ### 1/5 — SHOCKINGLY BAD. *2025-06-15* Between the spelling errors, fantasyland stories, pro Ukraine/israel state sponsored military and political propaganda being pushed and the absolutely ridiculous glitching every time you scroll down on a story that you focus on ads n they get more money from advertising. This company, newspaper and app is an absolute and utter joke and should be banned for the lies and public manipulation and scare tactics it promotes daily!!!! Even after the recent update. ### 1/5 — Videos don't work! *2025-06-12* I use the app on an ipad & videos just go to a black screen & you can't get out of it. You have to completely delete the app & re-install it 2025 edit: STILL terrible app! Videos work now in app on ipad, but VERY story glitches as ads push through & you find yourself at the end of the story. Try to scroll back up, nothing! Scroll again, it thinks you've scrolled left/right & you end up on a different story. Then I get the cookie preference choice page, the one that has no decline all choice, takes forever to reject all “legitimate interest” options so gave up, my presence regarding the cookie choices and premium stories is……. Highest setting is 135% on news. Making it still very small for people that use and need larger font sizes. Dynamic type should scale higher than only 135% :( The live section font is tiny, Sections settings do scale to larger sizes. The app is a mess with font so close together, impossible to use for people that use and need larger font sizes though. You should check other news and sports apps on how to implement dynamic type sizing correctly without horrible font that is so close together.
