## What is Daily Streak?

Daily Streak is a focused habit tracker designed around one simple idea: build one habit at a time.

Instead of juggling multiple goals, Daily Streak helps you stay committed by tracking only a single habit. When your focus changes, you can reset your streak and start fresh with a new habit.

How it works
• Choose one habit to focus on
• Mark it as done every day
• Miss a day and the streak resets
• Start again and build consistency over time

Key features
• Track one habit at a time for better focus
• 56-Day Journey to visualize your consistency over 8 weeks and track progress toward a 75% completion goal
• Home Screen widgets to keep your habit and streak in sight
• Plan tab to line up your next habit before your current streak ends
• History view to revisit past habits and streaks
• Keep tab to log daily check-ins on habits you've finished building — track your keep streak and see how often you show up
• Choose what to keep — when a habit is done, decide whether to keep checking in or just file it in History
• Already practice a habit? Add it straight to Keep — no 56-day build required
• Rename any habit from History, Keep, or its detail screen
• Daily reminders to help you stay on track
• Missed a day? Restore your streak and keep your momentum
• Focus Sessions — a full-screen Pomodoro timer that marks your habit done when the session ends
• Full support for Dark Mode
• Simple, distraction-free interface
• iCloud sync with conflict resolution keeps your streak safe across all your devices
• Export and import your habits and history as CSV for backup and restore

Why one habit?
Focusing on a single habit reduces overwhelm and increases your chances of long-term success.

Daily Streak keeps everything simple, private, and intentional—so you can focus on showing up every day.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.8.0 — 2026-07-29

• Keep tab — Finishing a habit no longer adds it to Keep for you. You're asked whether you want to carry on checking in, and it's yours to say no.
• Keep tab — Tap Add to Keep to bring in a habit whenever you're ready: pick one from your History, or add a habit you already practice outside the app.
• Keep tab — Long-press a card to remove a habit from Keep. It stays in History, and every check-in you logged is kept.
• Keep and History — Rename a habit with a long-press, or from the … menu on its detail screen.
• Habit detail — A Build/Keep picker switches between the 56-day build phase and the check-ins that came after it.
• First launch — New to Daily Streak? A short intro explains why one habit at a time, then helps you set up your first one. Already been at it for a while? Set a start date and your streak picks up from there.

### Bug Fixes

• Streak restore now restores the day you actually missed, instead of marking today complete.
• Keep habit detail — Completed-day metrics no longer count past the day the habit finished.

### 1.7.1 — 2026-06-16

• Keep tab — Habit cards now show your streak at a glance. See "On a N-day roll" when you're on a run, a reminder to check in before breaking your streak, or how many days you've missed — right on the card.
• Keep habit detail — A new frequency row shows how often you check in per week and per month, calculated from your actual history.

### Bug Fixes

• Keep tab and Build tab now update immediately when the calendar date rolls over.
• History — Manually added habits now show the correct total days count.

### 1.7.0 — 2026-05-28

• Keep tab — Already practicing a habit outside the app? Tap `+` to add it directly to Keep. Enter a name, when you started, and how often you do it — the app estimates your days practiced and adds the habit immediately. Tracking starts from today; no history is backfilled.
• Keep tab — Swipe left or right on the habit list to move between days. The week strip scrolls to follow automatically.
• Keep tab — Habits now appear on every day they were active, including days from the build phase, giving you a complete picture of any date in your journey.
• Keep habit detail — Swipe left or right to navigate between months in the calendar.
• 56-Day Journey — Swipe left or right on the calendar to switch between This Week and Journey views.

### 1.6.0 — 2026-05-04

• Focus Sessions — A built-in Pomodoro timer for your active habit. Tap Focus, set your duration (10 to 120 minutes), and start. Your habit is automatically marked as done when the timer finishes. The timer keeps running if you switch apps and sends a notification when it ends.

### 1.5.1 — 2026-04-29

• Keep tab — Browsing past days now also shows habits from your build phase, so you can see a complete picture of any day in your journey. Build-phase days are read-only — your history stays intact.
• Keep tab — The navigation title now shows the selected date (Today, Yesterday, or the specific date) so you always know which day you're viewing.
• Fixed a streak calculation in Keep habit detail where today's absence could incorrectly reset the streak to zero.
