I enjoy this type of game that makes you think and makes you use your brain however I want to actually play the game I don’t want to have to wait 24 hours to play it again. I will play the games i enjoy sometimes for hours because I enjoy them and this game, even tho I enjoy it, I can only play 1 minute per 24 hours seems crazy. **Developer response:** Hi there! Apologies for your experience. To simplify the game only letters which are in the anagram you are trying to solve are permitted. Also the game switches your input to CAPS so if you change it to lowercase it also will not input. Hopefully this resolved your issues. Some of the word validation issues come from the dictionary source the app currently uses, which doesn’t always handle apostrophes or rare cases correctly. If you leave the game before completing you can’t return until the next day.Having to watch 30 seconds of adverts if you need a clue is too long. This game could be so much better. There’s then the longer game mode but the endless confetti is very distracting! **Developer response:** Hello there! Apologies for your experiance, as you can imagine with free apps, advertising is a way to earn some revenue. To combat this there is TaiWord Pro which removes all advertising within the app! Thanks for playing! ### 4/5 — Good start! *2024-05-05* Hey found this game mentioned in Reddit by the dev so downloaded it. I like to play scrabble and wanted to use this to get better at knowing the words on my rack. Decided to buy immediacy to get rid of ads and support the dev. I realize the dev may not be involved much now with this app, as the Reddit post was from two e yards ago, BUT, if you're reading this, please make a way to have th e dictionary be the NWL23 and the CSW22. These are the two main dictionaries that scrabble players use around the world. I won't be using this app for now, since a lot of the words I entered, that I know are ok with the NWL23, were marked wrong. You’re absolutely right: TaiWord currently doesn’t use the NWL23 or CSW22 word lists, which is why some Scrabble-valid words are being rejected. I really appreciate your suggestion and will look into adding official word list options (like NWL and CSW) in a future update, as I know many players would love that feature too. Thanks again for giving TaiWord a try, and for caring enough to write such a helpful review! - Taiwo (The Solo Developer) ### 4/5 — A good short daily game *2022-05-27* Updated review for v1.1: I love the addition of a 7 letter word to solve every day and I’m glad the developer made the words reset at midnight now. Getting the ability to watch an ad in return for the first letter is also much appreciated. Dropped to 4 stars because a recent 7 letter word was “gashose” which, even when tapping “define word” brought back no definitions. Some human extra verification should be added to ensure the words are actual words. Also, the leaderboards reset at 7:05PM (UK time) whereas the words reset at midnight. So if I solve a word in the morning but my friend doesn’t play until 8PM, there’s no way for us to compare times. It would be better if the leaderboards related to the word instead of resetting based on time. Other suggestion for improvement: if you run out of time, give the player the option to reveal the answer OR keep guessing. **Developer response:** Hi there! I have addressed a few of your issues as well as added new features! *There is a new conundrum mode which is a 10 letter TaiWord, you have until midnight to complete this. *I have gone through tue 10,000’s of words and made sure they all widely recognised to the best of my knowledge. *Leaderboard reset time is unfortunately not amendedable (the new conundrum is set for midnight) *You have until midnight and can guess as many times as you want for the 10 letter TaiWord!
