## What is DailyDash?

Open DailyDash and your next departures are already there.

DailyDash remembers your regular NSW public-transport trips and shows live departures for all of them the moment the app opens — no searching, no re-entering stops, no setup ritual. Save a trip once; glance forever.

EVERY MODE
• Train, Sydney Metro, bus, light rail and ferry — including combined Train & Metro trips planned across both networks.
• Covers metropolitan and regional NSW services on the Opal network and beyond.

LIVE AND HONEST
• Real-time departures with clear live indicators. When data is scheduled-only, DailyDash says "scheduled" — never a fake countdown.
• Delays, cancellations, platforms and skipped stops shown plainly.
• Service alerts for your saved routes, with the details one tap away.

TRACK YOUR RIDE
• Follow the service you've boarded stop by stop — live vehicle position on the map and arrival estimates for every stop, with calm "Next stop" cues.
• Multi-leg journeys tracked across the interchange.
• "Earlier today" shows the departures you could have caught — and lets you track the ones still on the road.

BUILT FOR THE GLANCE
• Home banners show the next departures for every saved trip, with staleness always visible.
• Pin an in-progress journey to the top of home.
• Light and dark themes.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no sign-up. Your saved trips live only on your phone.
• Location is optional and used only on your device — for nearby-stop search and the "you are here" map dot. It is never sent to a server.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-03

Anywhere — door-to-door trips
Plan from any address or your current location to anywhere else, and DailyDash works out the whole journey: the walk to your stop, the services, the changes, and the walk at the other end. Save it like any other trip.

Watch a whole corridor, not just one bus
Save two stops and DailyDash follows every bus line that runs between them, so you take whichever comes first instead of watching four separate routes.

Clearer live tracking
The map now tells you what it can and can't see — when a service is reporting its position but not its stop-by-stop progress, it says so, instead of leaving you to guess. Arrival times across the app are now true arrival times, not departure times wearing the wrong label.

Better stop pickers
Choosing a destination now only offers stops your bus actually reaches. Big interchanges group their stands together instead of listing them one by one, and you can find a stop by the number printed on the sign.

Cancellations and changes
Cancelled services stay visible and struck through rather than quietly vanishing, and a service that has been altered so it no longer reaches your stop now says so.

Timetable view
A full timetable view for any saved route, earlier departures you can scroll back to, and faster, more accurate bus schedules.
