Attempts to load photos are denied (limit of 0 files has been reached). ### 2/5 — Decent app, when it works *2026-05-02, version 10.0.6* This app is decent, when it works. However, often times one will try to submit a request and will get a response that it’s unable to be submitted. even waiting hours or days later, the same error occurs. I’m using an iPhone with system 17.6.1. I’m calling 311 from now on. I’ve never seen an app degrade and crater like this has in recent years. It’s almost like it was intentionally sabotaged — although it might just be garden-variety incompetence. If it was intended to take the load off of the 311 calls, I suppose it has been as big a failure for the city as it has been for citizens. How much taxpayer money did the developers make for the app downgrade? You go online with a computer and the service is reachable. It is the apps fault. This app is unusable most days. Tonight is Friday, July 26, 2024 at 11:15pm. I wish I could say this was unusual, but it usually happens to me when I use this app. ### 1/5 — A failure *2024-06-30* I’ve tried to submit maintenance requests on both my iPad and my iPhone. In each case, after entering an address of the location, a screen pops up that says “details,“ but doesn’t allow one to enter any information there, nor can you proceed from there to actually submit a request. So I ended up calling the 311 number and talking to the operator there. Whoever is programming this thing needs to be fired. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Gets caught up on anything *2026-06-06, version 10.0.6* This isn’t a review of the City of Dallas 311, because they’re great. But this app has a lot of bugs that need to be worked out. I can’t finish a service request because the screen goes blank. I’ve made sure the app is up-to-date, closed it and restarted it, and it still doesn’t work. This is supposed to save you time. Instead I’ve tried to do one simple task six separate times. What’s the point? ### 1/5 — App is completely unreliable *2026-06-03, version 10.0.6* Nearly every time I try to submit a new request within the app it gets hung up or just has a blank screen or something. Seriously I have not been able to submit a request through this app in the last year. The user experience is fine and is functional and theoretically would be a good app if it actually worked. However, given it is run by local city government, I’m not surprised. This is a HUGE improvement to the 311 app. Location DOES work, anonymous requests DO work, photos worked for me on the first try. Each service requests tells you when to use it, to avoid requests going to the wrong department.
