## What is Dama?

Keep what you want to learn in Dama and study in a way that suits you.

Dama is a study-card app for your own collections and imported materials. Learn English, Japanese or Korean vocabulary, or turn information you have organized into cards.

WRITE, SPEAK AND LISTEN
Answer by handwriting, or pronounce the word in its study language to check your answer. Listen to English, Japanese and Korean pronunciation. Voice input requires microphone and speech-recognition permission. Recognition results and voice support vary by device, language and speech service.

WORDS FROM PHOTOS AND TEXT
Choose a photo, take a picture or import clipboard text to add words. Review and edit recognized words and translations before saving. Recognition and translation may be incorrect. Some features require a model download or network connection.

YOUR COLLECTIONS AND PROGRESS
Import files or web materials and organize your own cards into collections. Review your study records and review schedule. A first installation starts with empty collections and shows how to add web materials.

LOCAL BACKUP AND FILE EXPORT
Turn automatic backup on or off in settings and see its status and last successful time. Automatic backups stay on this device. To prepare for deleting the app or changing devices, export a backup file outside the app yourself. Restoration requires confirmation. Cross-device automatic synchronization is not provided.
