This is the official mobile app of the National Health Insurance Company - Daman. As a Daman member, you can now conveniently and securely access our electronic services using your smart phone.



The Daman App comes with a host of features that simplify your health insurance:

-	Book an appointment with a doctor in your network across the UAE

### 1/5 — Engineered to prevent claiming

Search ‘Orthopaedic’ in Dubai and you get a nil return. Try to put bank details in - a necessary preliminary move prior to making claims - the app won’t accept UAE IBANs. It’s set up so that the permanent feature does t work so you have to put on bank details for each claim. Claims ‘disappear’ so you can’t track or refer if rejected for more info. All set up to make claiming difficult

When I open the it request for updated app and not allowing me to use the current app and when I try from App Store there is no any update option. Tried from my friends phone and same issue everywhere. Fix this bug asap.

I needed to find a network hospital in Dubai, but the app search function simply would not work. I tried multiple search combinations, yet no results were displayed. I then checked the Daman website and faced the exact same issue. Surprisingly, I was able to search for hospitals outside the UAE, but nothing within the UAE itself.

I also attempted to use the live chat feature 5–6 times. Each time, I was asked to verify my identity through UAE Pass, Emirates ID, or login credentials. Despite trying every option multiple times, the chat either restarted from the beginning or showed an error message saying my details could not be found and redirected me to the main menu.

This was extremely frustrating, especially during an emergency situation. Very disappointing experience this time.

My app updated but now won’t let me in as it keeps asking me to update again, even though it already has. I tried restarting the phone, deleting the app and redownloading but I keep getting the same thing!

I’ve been waiting since Friday. They said it would be solved in 3 days. Every time, a new excuse about linking my insurance to my unified number. Terrible service — no updates, no proper help. I don’t understand what they’re doing all this time. I’m stuck, can’t even travel to my sick mother because of this delay. They clearly don’t care. Just release me — I want to cancel this insurance that’s only causing harm. We paid upfront and deserve proper service. Daman, you failed.

The app only works for checking your coverage, which honestly you normally already know. However it’s nearly impossible to check the network. The location function doesn’t work, and at every search I made I had no results found. The drop down menus are confusing and the open search by doctor or clinic name simply doesn’t work. Very disappointing. The app seriously needs a huge improvement to be worth the use.

If you have any questions or you need contact the insurance company, you won’t be able to do so. Three times I called today, each time at least six minutes on the line, last time it was twelve minutes, nothing. No one answered. I’ve tried to reach them via chat bot, and even through the chat they are not accepting text messages! They blocked my insurance without notice, I spent two hours and one hundred twenty dirhams for taxi, to realize that I my application is cancelled due to insurance blockage.
