## What is Damper?

Struggling with where to store the settings for the suspension components on your mountain bike? Tired of taking your gloves off mid-ride to type into a note on your phone with sweaty hands and a tiny keyboard on your screen? Want to be able to track your changes with location, notes, and more? Damper is the thing for you.

Damper allows you to add all of your bikes and their individual components, and track the current settings of them individually. Each saved setting adds to a growing history list that shows you what changed (ie: added 3 clicks of compression) and where it happened at. Best of all, all of the controls are big enough that you can change values with your gloves on.

Features:
- Any bike, any component.
- Full suspension and hardtail support.
- Track high-speed compression, low-speed compression, high-speed rebound, low-speed rebound, token count, air pressure, and coil weight.
- Support for dual air chamber components.
- Optionally add a location to a group of saved settings.
- Favorite a group of settings to easily find it again.
- Add notes that remind you of extra details from a run.
- Easily share the settings of a component with a shop or mechanic in photo form.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.2 — 2024-08-25

- Fixed a crash when trying to add new tire settings to a session.

### 1.2.1 — 2024-08-08

- Fixed a bug where quick edit (long-pressing a value on the Now tab) on chamber 1 or 2 air pressure would clear the chamber 2 pressure value on dual chamber components.
- Fixed a bug where the maximum pressure available for chamber 2 did not respect the value input in Settings.
- Fixed a bug where the default values for pressure would be a decimal in certain circumstances -- these round to a whole number by default now for easier initial adjustment.

### 1.2 — 2024-07-21

- NEW: Dual air chamber support for components.
- NEW: Simple token support, integers only to start.
- Onboarding improvements.
- Reduced location permissions requested from ‘always’ to ‘when in-use’.
- Reversed year pickers to start with 202x instead of 1980.
- Performance improvements to History, more to come later.
- Settings detail view now shows what changes you made between two runs, just like on the History tab.
- Fixed various places where scroll bars didn’t appear at the edge of the screen.
- Fixed a bug where the favorite icon on the settings detail page was black in dark mode.
- Fixed a bug where a new user could escape onboarding before a bike was created and cause a crash or unknowingly create components named “0”.
- Fixed a bug where a user could open the keyboard when inputting compression and rebound settings but not be able to input a valid value.
- Fixed a bug that could cause the session detail page to not load, or prevent you from navigating to a session page from Now when a session was active.

### 1.1 — 2024-07-09

  - Notes can now be shown on each History entry
  - Added a new filtering option to only show your favorite settings.
