My expected delivery with expedited order was not honored and only after raising an issue directly with them did they redirect my order to get where it needed to go just in time. They apologized and we both moved on. This time, I placed an order for an item that was listed “in stock” on their site and told would be delivered to me by today, at the very latest. After multiple inquiries on my own time I was told, at the last minute, that actually the item—the entire reason I placed an order at all—was actually not in stock, would t be in stock, and was going to be cancelled and refunded instead. I wonder what would’ve happened if I hadn’t hounded them. And that says nothing of the extra business they got out of me on an empty promise of “in stock” items that I waited on, and could’ve ordered from more reliable businesses. The “fool me once” adage rings true, but this time I’m done for good. ### 1/5 — Today’s treatment *2023-12-30* After years of good service from your company I have been harassed on you app with big messages of “Do you need help to cut your alcohol consumption. I was buying for New Year’s Eve and to last a fortnight . I resent being bombarded with this advertisement while trying to order. I was also demanded at my door to present my drivers license. I’m in my 70s I hardly look like I’m under 18 I had my dog locked away . While I was getting my license I accidentally let the dog out he never hurt the driver he just barked at him .. The driver was going to kick my dog I told him if he did my dog might bite him. I’m offended I was treated in this manner today from the time I ordered to the drivers dumb actions. Please do not harass me again with popups of drinking habits. My business is just that you only need to serve me I am absolutely astounded at the treatment I got today. ### 1/5 — Pathetic App and no customer support once they have your money *2023-12-09* For such a large company the App is atrocious, frequently locks up for some actions and unusable in store for looking up product information and customer reviews as promoted by themselves. No customer support or contact information unless you want to chat with a Bot that goes nowhere. Had an unpleasant experience in store. Everything was going so well, helpful floor staff and a friendly checkout operator only to have an over zealous operator from another register race over in a panic either accusing me of trying to hide/steal something or the competent and friendly operator not being capable of doing her job. Menai store. I will being going to other locations when possible in the future. ### 1/5 — 2 out of 2 strikes worst service ever experienced *2022-07-30* I’ve only used the App on 2 occasions to order home delivery over a year apart with the same disappointing outcome. Both times I’ve ordered and paid for premium delivery option within a specific time period. Both times I’ve waited for hours without the delivery arriving. They then apologise and reschedule at a time that I cannot be home, then I’m obliged to go through a time consuming process to cancel the order or reschedule to a time which could be as much as a week later. You can have zero confidence in receiving your order when scheduled. The scripted apologies give the impression this is just their standard MO knowing once you’ve ordered it is hard to cancel.
