This feature was key to making the lock exceptionally user-friendly, especially for children. The lack of Twist Assist severely diminishes the lock's usability, and we’re now looking for another brand of smart lock with this essential feature. I hope this feedback reaches the developers and that they reconsider the decision to remove such a critical feature, restoring the Danalock to its former, highly functional state. ### 1/5 — I wish I could give 0.. *2024-04-10, version 0.22.1* The lock and the app are 3rd world quality. The support is no help. The app shows the lock is stuck in a locked position even though it’s unlocked. and cannot lock. ### 1/5 — Twist Assist removal - Mistake *2024-03-24, version 0.22.1* Echoing other comments, the removal of this capability is a huge mistake. I have not upgraded my firmware as a result, which concerns me. I am also having calibration issues, constantly reporting jammed in HomeKit, which would probably be fixed with new calibration methods in the new firmware. In fact, it doesn’t even allow me to lock or unlock my door at all, and as for getting rid of twist assist, don’t even get me started As soon as humanly possible, I will be getting rid of this lock, and will tell anybody and everybody to NEVER purchase a Danalock. ### 1/5 — Don’t invest in a Danalock, invest in a Nuki *2023-12-19, version 0.17.0* I once praised the Danalock for its functionality but unfortunately this brand has now ended in my book and the new chapter with Nuki has started. Why on earth would you disable this? Please do not say it’s easier to twist my lock more than 2 full revolutions to open it now. I moved into a home with a danalock on the door. The instructions are rubbish. I can’t figure out how to pair it. Neither this app or the classic app help. This app forces you to make an account (for a Bluetooth door lock???!!) and when I try it just says error 504 gateway timeout. After struggling for a week and having to constantly use our emergency key I’ve given up and gone back to the classic version. Set up is good but constantly fails to connect to the lock. The overall user interface and usability of the app is so bad. Ich habe besseres zu tun. ### 1/5 — Won’t show as locked *2024-08-19, version 1.2.0* I’ve tried running the calibration many times but when I lock the door through the app, it locks but shows as unlocked. The only way to show it as locked is to manually lock it. So now when I’m out of the house it shows as my door is unlocked, not ideal for my piece of mind. ### 1/5 — Twist assist *2024-08-16, version 1.2.0* I join the other dissatisfied customers who are very unhappy about the removal of this function which I had used every day. Before the update of the software I was even unable to lock the door without a key for some reason which was hardly the reason I bought the lock. Vast improvement over using the App Auto Unlock feature. I do use this over a bridge so more reliably. They have tried to fix an important feature and they seem to have done it. ### 3/5 — Schönes Design aber…. *2024-02-11, version 0.17.0* Vom Design ein wesentlicher Schritt nach vorne aber die Classic App ist wesentlich akkurater und hat eine bessere Performance. Im direkten Vergleich mit der Classic App braucht mein Schloß ewig bis es erkannt wird und der Aufforderung zum öffnen folgt - wenn überhaupt. Mal sehen was die nächsten Versionen bringen; z.Zt lasse ich die Classic App als Backup auf meinem iPhone. Leider fehlen grundlegende und wichtige Funktionen, wie zum Beispiel eine Apple Watch Integration oder der Schnellzugriff über Widgets. Auch die Schnittstelle zu Siri Shortcuts, welche auch nicht HomeKit Schlösser per Sprachbefehl steuern lässt, fehlt leider.
