Scheduling operation times is easy, and I can remotely turn the dehumidifier on and off, adjust the humidity set point, and change the fan speed. It also displays the current room humidity, which is helpful. My only suggestion is to add a clear indicator showing whether the unit is actively running or idle. Otherwise, a solid app for managing the dehumidifier remotely. ### 2/5 — From good to bad to horrific *2024-09-01, version 2.2* It worked for a little while and then suddenly stopped working and no matter what we did to try and correct the issues it just kept kicking us out. Tried to reach out to their Customer Service and realized that it isn’t really customer service but more like do this, do that, and if that doesn’t work then, too bad. Can check humidity level in the room, change set point, adjust fan speed, turn on /off, and pump tank to drain( when hose attached and not using continuous drainage) from anywhere. ### 3/5 — App needs a few more features *2023-08-11* AC unit itself is great. Most people operate the fan at 100%, afterall that is what it turns on to the first time. There is no way in Favorites or Schedule functions to set the fan speed to 100 (only High, which is 80). This is nuts, who decided that illogic? High should be 100, Medium should be 70, and Low should be 30. Or add another level called “Max” and make that 100. … also, add lever orientation to the Favorite and Schedule functions. That way can set to Swing or Lowest angle of lever as part of those functions; is a 5min IT fix. ### 1/5 — Is this an actual Danby app? *2023-08-03, version 2.2* The email confirmation doesn’t come from danby.com ??!! ### 3/5 — Good Not Great *2023-07-23* App functions fine for my AC unit, but the buttons that you press to set the fan to boost, or put the unit in sleep mode barely change color of the font. It’s next to impossible to see if the app registered the tap of one of those buttons. Pleas make that a high contrast button when activated and you’ll get your remaining 2 stars. ### 3/5 — “Deriction” is not a word *2023-07-20* AC works well for me. The app does too, but “Deriction” should be “Direction” and “Horizontal S” should be “Horizontal Swing”. This really bothers me. Is it that hard to fix? There is also poor formatting in (three dot button) > Check > Details, and bad translation and grammar in (three dot button) > About Device > Description Of Device.
