The battles are decent length, the concept of using one round to get you through the whole battle is cool, the music is challenging and the judges are legit. One thing I would love to see in the future is being able to connect your phone to a Bluetooth speaker and not have the video sync affected! Playing the music from my phone speaker makes it tough for me to hear the tracks while recording. I don’t recommend this app. ### 2/5 — Not many users, very confusing *2020-05-12* I was very excited to see this app at first! I downloaded it and the graphics are very neat. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to vote and that is the whole point of the app. No directions. Can’t a FAQ. Tried to google it and can’t find on the internet. Not many users yet and only original version of songs and you can’t upload your own like TikTok. Also can’t battle by just saying pair me up with a random. You have to do a friend or just scroll and choose somebody that you don’t know **Developer response:** First of all, thank you for giving us a try. We are psyched that you came into the DanceFight experience with that kind of excitement and your high standards. We share those same high standards and are striving to rapidly evolve DanceFight so it's awesome. We have just gone live in the App Store and totally agree with you on your critiques and where we can do better! To provide some specifics, we are improving the instructions for voting. The tutorial will demonstrate how to expand the dancer you want to vote for by dragging the “VS" right or left. We also are adding an FAQ. And as a compliment to your vision for battling, we're soon adding a feature that will randomly match you against others, and the world will vote on their favorite. That feature actually will have a cool brand and will be really fun! And you'll also be able to connect to your friends super easily. So much more to cover, but that hits at least some of your suggestions. Given that your feedback is so constructive, we hope you'd be willing to email us with advice on these items and maybe go deeper on other ideas you have. The only way I’ve seen the vote go through is when I double tap on the video, even then the vote goes to the opposite person. Okay that’s what I have so far so if y’all could add those please do 😊🎊🎉 ### 3/5 — GREAT IDEA BUT.... *2020-08-06* The layout is very confusing and not very attractive in my opinion. There doesn’t seem to be a way to check everyone’s dance under a select song? I think the voting process would be easier/fair if everyone posted their dance and it paired ppl up randomly (then it would be easier to see ppl’s dances too and if not to be paired randomly then easier to pick who you want to go against). I don’t mind that there isnt comments, i think its nicer that way. I’ll keep the app and watch it grow for now. I’ll keep looking if all mentioned is there but if it is then it just proves that the design isn't user friendly. In terms of what you already shared, we're improving the experience on a weekly release basis, so things are evolving for the better rapidly. Many of your recommendations are definitely consistent with our team's views on how we can make the DanceFight experience even better. In just a short few days, for example, you'll be able to record your dance and immediately post "open" challenges onto the main feed for any and all to join! This is our first foray into "random" functionality, with more to come on that front. Also, we're constantly improving our search functionality. Currently, if you tap the Search icon and enter a song name, all dance fights using that song should show for you. Tap around and let us know if not. And regarding comments, our top priority is the safety and positivity of our community. We figured, comments are where there's so much insensitivity, so like you said, we removed that feature. The app is great for everyone to feel included. The app could use more songs and more artists who make music, so we could dance to these songs. Also sometimes the app lags and uploads do not finish.
