## What is DanceTake?

Ever filmed yourself dancing, rushed back from your phone, and finished the routine only to find your head or feet cut off?

DanceTake is a dance camera that uses body-pose detection to help you get in frame before recording. Tap Start, then take your time finding your position. The countdown begins when the app detects usable framing and you've held steady—not the moment you tap the button.

FRAMING YOU CAN SEE FROM ACROSS THE ROOM
DanceTake checks key body points around your head, shoulders, knees, and ankles, along with your size and position in the frame. A large colored circle and directional cues help you adjust:
• Red: keep adjusting.
• Yellow: ready to record, with room to improve your framing.
• Green: you're in a better position. Hold steady.
Hold still briefly in yellow or green to start the countdown. If you move significantly during the countdown, the app waits for you to settle again.

YOUR MUSIC, WITHOUT THE EXTRA EDITING
Choose a reference video from Photos, or an audio or video file from Files. DanceTake plays it while you record, then syncs your footage with the source's original audio track. No separate step to add the music back. Prefer to record without a reference? Allow microphone access to keep the sound around you.

REVIEW, REFINE, AND KEEP YOUR BEST TAKE
Play back your recording, scrub through it, mirror the video, or trim the ending before saving to Photos or sharing. Takes recorded with the same source are grouped together, so you can revisit a routine, record another version, and delete unwanted takes in batches.

PROCESSED ON YOUR IPHONE
Pose detection, audio syncing, and video processing happen on your device. No account, no ads, and no uploads of your media or recordings to developer-operated servers. Choose from the recording resolutions and frame rates your iPhone supports.

Exported videos include a DanceTake watermark during the final 5 seconds, or throughout clips shorter than 5 seconds. Saving and sharing without a watermark requires a one-time in-app purchase of DanceTake Pro.

For best results, keep your phone steady, use good lighting, and leave room around your body for movement. Framing guidance helps with camera setup; it does not score or correct dance technique. DanceTake does not include a music or tutorial library. Use media you have permission to use.
